I worked for delta global services for 3 years as a ramp supervisor now I’m a delta employee!! It took over 4 years after trying over and over again but now I got it and I’m above wing and it’s a transition but it’s still fun working because everyone you’re surrounded by is so helpful!
Just got a Cabin Cleaning Agent job at an open interview today with Unifi/Delta DGS. Definitely plan on advancing into a full fledged Delta role but can only be part-time or seasonal for now (most are for full-time) so hoping this is a good start for me. Wish the subsidiary DGS got the same flight benefits but it's a foot in the door that I'll take.

She’s right I have been trying to get on with American or delta or United since 2013 when I graduated high school. I’m in 2022 just got on at Piedmont which is like the subsidiary for American and it’s been 4 months love it !! I’m on ramp I’m about to move to mainline American and it’s worth it if u get on. Not only do you fly for free for American you get a pension and the pay double pay sometimes holiday pay
Thank you for your pointers. I am using a company recruiter to get into international cabin cleaner. When work is not easy to find, you transition to jobs that are open. Hopefully, there wont be a lot of complications in the processing. I will know in a week.

My daughter is looking. Thanks. She is able to type fast so I told her to try CSA position. She is not a great swimmer so I told her to stay away from flight attendant. I could do any of it myself but I am getting too old. On the ramp the one thing that would get me is MOSQUITOES! Grrr.

was gonna work at a production place which was unionized.. was offered the job but decided to ghost them, cos when i was on the tour i never felt more unwelcomed anywhere in my life... so many dirty looks from the older workers was wild
Can someone give me info on how to get a job at Delta’s sky club??? I’ve applied through compass group however they don’t even have a live human to answer customer and the application process is very weird.
I agree with you. I tried compass. And I can't get to talk to no one. I have tried several times. I tried others position like cleaning in the sky club. And no response.
I applied for united on October of 2022. And i did the interview and I passed. I did the orientation. I did all the paperwork. I did drug screen Physical test. Strength test. All of it. My background check finished. And we are on November 19 of 2022 I haven’t heard anything back from them. That one of the hiring lady. Even message me if I received anything or heard anything back.

Yes, you can apply to a direct airline. Whichever airline you want to work for apply on the website. Search for careers on the airline website. Such as Caribbean airlines, United airlines, Delta airlines, Spirit airlines, frontier airlines, Southwest Airlines.

The training was very easy and simple. It was a few exams that I had to pass before becoming a cabin cleaner and working as a ramp agent. I believe the training department allowed people to retake the exam once or twice. If someone failed twice they would be fired.
Uniforms are provided. However it did take a very long time for the uniforms to be delivered to my house. The training did require a white collard shirt and black pants. Every airline maybe different.
You just can't work for another airline, post office, FedEx, ups or in the travel industry while at Delta. That's what I was told during my onboarding last week.
@@drakechap The reason is because they are government jobs. People are teachers and still work for Delta part time. A lot of people have full time jobs and work part time for Delta.
Yes, I was hired on the spot. I went to a hiring event. If you attend a in person hiring event then you either would be accepted or declined on the spot. If you applied online then it would take a few weeks or a month.
