Happy Birthday for the 4th. Cool, piston’s arrived today, heck yeah! Hopefully bottom end is good. You could use the break. Good luck and I’ll see when u drop it.
I have done some little things to my Cruze but Im finally done rebuilding my Subaru baja engine now it’s time to pull the cruzes and do a full rebuild and make it a little project inspired by you much love man
First off I gotta say the quality of this video is 👌🏽 every video is just an improvement from your last! Also that Flywheel is looking so good man I bet it was hard to not open it right away. I would’ve 😂😅 (GT35)
Thanks, for the most part. Just consistent uploads. At least a video a week. Also, search engine optimize the video keywords. Personality plays a role as well, but thumbnails are huge too. This is my second channel, smaller of the two. Good luck and you can do it! Just stick with it.
This is absolutely what you want unless you have bigger cams and a port job then the aluminum flywheel comes into play because you're looking at power from upper RPM ... my understanding you didn't Port the head and go with bigger cams and valves.... do you don't want or need the aluminum flywheel.... .....LET'S GO 🏁
This is 100% going to sort your problem out. But youve drilled your crank to take the larger bolts, so i guess your replacing the crank? And how many KG is is 16lbs 9?? (Should do both conversions next time ha!!) My billet is 4.5KG, so you wont be too far away with that bad boy, and have a great birthday man !
I think so too! The built engine is going in with the forged pistons, and stage 2 cams. So I'll be using the balanced crankshaft that's in that motor. LOL... it's 7.5 kg. Little heavier, but should hold up.
I’ve never heard of such thing, but I wonder if you could double nut a stud into the crank and run a stud and nut setup for the flywheel? 🤔 you would be able to obtain the most even toque load that way I would think.
Possible 6 pound difference I bet. That's a nice piece. You may want to think about a scatter shield 🛡 that way you save stuff including your foot or 🦵. Nice busy weekend 👌 Happy birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉. Be safe team.
Rad bro I running a chromoly 9.5lb with a 6 puck unsprung and I think the pressure plate was rated at 300ft lbs tq idk it at its limit tho , I been thinking going g to a twin disk but idk yet ... super happy 4 ya tho looks rad af and should deff hold up good for ya brotha 💪 🤙🏽🤘🏼✌🏽
This flywheel and the clutch you are using are listed for the 1.4L engine. Any issues or modifications required to make them work on the 1.8L? SPEC has told me the 1.4L and 1.8L are different for my model year (2016 limited) but the OE part numbers are the same. Thanks.
Awesome! lol, the aluminum single mass did the same thing. Chatter when in neutral unless I pressed the clutch, but I'm cool with it. I just have to remind myself, it's not the engine making noise, just the clutch flywheel setup.
