Why You Shouldn't Multi-Mic Your Bass Amp 

I almost always ignore the mic tracks. Double the DI and use and amp sim on the second one. Haha

Will- if you’re recording/tracking bass, what signal chain would you “typically” reach for? Great video!

Mic+di, mic each on sub/tweet, OR mic each on basscab+guitarcab (yes guitar cab to get the growl). Ideally, any two sources should be combined in input stage with proper alignment

but what about using the clean low end from the DI and the grit from one of the mics combined? thats the way i do it most of the time.
