I don't know how you managed to relate the consumerism with breakups but it is brilliant. User friendly and more powerful/ more reliable are qualities my ex will remember and find hard to replace. She never found it before me and is very unlikely to find it after me.

We were in 8 year relationship. I was 19 and she was 17 when we met. She was my first love and I was hers. We've been through everything together, we had hard times and a lot of fun times like travelling, adventures, hiking, dining etc. Then in university she met a guy that tried to flirt with her but she friendzoned him and they only spoke about exams and lectures. She never hide anything from me also I have read their chats and stuff, everything was normal and we loved each other and have feelings. Then in the beginning of this year we started to have different arguments and fights, things were a little bit toxic on times. I've decided and telled her, let's give us some time to reflect on things, let's separate for a month or two without each other. She cried, she was devastated when I decided that. One month have passed and we didn't seek each other and then I tried to contact her, but she told me she is not going back in our relationship.. I was so confused and desperate to bring her back.. but then I found out that she is already meeting this guy from university that she friendzoned him. He is the total opposite of me. He don't have a job, he is living on a rent with his parents money and I have a stable job with a house. He is interested only in going to parties or whatever and I am more like introverted, I like to read books, I like to go travel and have new experiences. She started to post pictures of them on social media how they love each other.. not even a month from our breakup they "love" each other. I tried several times to fix the things but it didn't work, she ignored me but sees all my stories and reacts to my photos, she keeps all of our photos on social media. Coach Alexis, could you tell me if that is typical rebound relationship?

Agree with it all apart from the time you’ve been split. Say you’ve been split for 3 years, lived in 2 different houses but kept the physical and emotional bonds going but still think you single if you go out with friends or even if you still emotionally dependent on each other ie you’ve split but never separated (talk/see each other near enough every day) I’d still class that a rebound after 3 years?

If No Contact is the answer to reattracting an ex, which I believe to be the case. I'm two years post break-up. She broke it off. She's still reaching out, but I've stopped asking to meet as she didn't agree to meet 3-4 times in the second half of last year, when she reached out. So now she likes posts on my Facebook weekly to fortnightly (with no provocation from me). Then the problem I have Alexis is that I've seen several of your videos saying that after two years effectively, it is basically hopeless if we haven't reconnected. Last time I saw her was Easter 2022, spent the weekend at her house. So, now I'm between not asking to meet and giving up and still having some hope given her current behaviour. I'm confused, I've followed NC, I've waited for her to reach out, which keeps happening. I've stopped asking to meet since I've been rejected on that several times and I don't want to appear needy.
