we have gigabit internet via pldt and our router gets toasty when it's getting heavily loaded and after a period of time it just disconnects everyone (even Ethernet) altogether. Adding a PC fan underneath fixed the problem for me

I placed the Wifi near the TV and my brother’s computer, does that affect the internet connection? My phone’s the only one doing this, if I turn off the Private Wi-Fi Address setting on my phone its less likely to disconnect now, but it still disconnects at random times and may not even come back unless I toggle the Private Wifi Address on/off again.

I had a cordless phone in the same room as the modem/router and I was getting random disconnects from the internet. I was wondering why for the longest time and even had a tech come out to replace the cables outside but that didnt fix the problem. I moved the phone out of the room now and hopefully that may fix the issue. I also have a cell phone in the same room but I need it near me when I am working on the computer. Im not sure if cell phones can cause the disconnects since you didnt list that.

Can I get help? So basically, My internet is 30 mbps but im using Ethernet so its 90 mbps on pc but it turns off every 6 or 7 pm every night. I've tried every tutorial I could find related to my problem but it just doesn't help.

what if your modem is in a network closet along with your other things? Could these be a reason one might be experiencing issues? What about if the issues seem to be happening around the same time of day?

Yes it could be a reason. Also check what other things in the closet could disrupt wifi signal. Issue tend to happen same time of the day because it might be when the ambient temp peaks. There could be a lot of reasons so u need to investigate closer.

My internet keeps disconnecting and reconnect every like 40 minutes sometimes back to back on all devices and it seems like when I play online games on my PS4 that causes it to happen and I got a new mottem but not router and this started and I called my internet provider multiple times and one person sed he fixed something with my settings and nothing happened

I just got an internet box some days ago. I’ve never had this problem, customer support doesn’t even work and they only tell you that they are going to restart it. It turns on but after a while it’s still on but it disconnects and connects when it wants to. I don’t have antennas but this is frustrating

I have a 4G modem its Bec 6300nel Ridgewave R15 LTE modem from my isp Bravado Wireless uses Verzion Towers I top at 5mbps to 6mbps but my Modem randomly turns off its DHCP server some odd reason some times Wifi Disappears gonna replace my modem on Friday 22nd 😊

So I figured it out. Turns out the wifi adapters for the motherboard had an option to turn themselves off to "save power". They were constantly doing that every so often

Does this help if my wifi drops at the same time (12:29pm) everyday but comes back on within 60 seconds? 5 lights on modem are supposed to be on when the wifi drops only 3 lights on top stay on the other two lights turn off? This is for all devices not just with one particular device. My internet provider says everything looks good with the modem but something is going on I just don't know.

Hey, I have a dual band tp link archer C6. No matter what I do, all devices randomly show exclamation sign, showing no internet. But as soon as i turn my phone's wifi off and on, everything becomes normal. I tried disable ling 2.4ghz and only use 5ghz and vice versa but nothing works. I can't figure out if it's my wires, settings in my router or the router itself.... The problem is quite small but much frequent and frustating.

Thanks for replying and yes I did reset it a couple of times and interchanged various cables bt still results were same. Probably the overheating was a issue so i did the wooden plank thing that seemed to open ways for vents below the router. So far so good . I also set the fibre optic ONU with proper ventilation. I think when 4-5 people use the router together, it overheated for which it did the disconnection as a saefty mechanism. But now after properly venting the router, I haven't faced the issue for about a day now. Thanks!

Nag compare ko sa connection nila misis mas heavy user sila sa kanila kasi 3 tv naka netflix tapos naka live selling pa kmi hnd ako na ddisconnect sa mobile games ko Pero pag dito na kmi sa bahay nag live selling tapos naka mobile game ako asahan ko ng ma ddc ako mayat maya or babagsak ng resolution ung live selling namin. Mag papa request ako ulit ng onsite visit nag pa upgrade ako para gumanda connection kaso mukang mas pumangit pa ngaun.

@@gcdelrosario tama pa inspect mo ulit sa isp. Feeling ko may nagagalaw sa connection nung fiber cable... Baka may part hindi secure pagkakabit or gumagalaw pag hinangin.

@@HanDIYman007 naka vdsl palang lines dito saamin sir pero nag lalatag na daw sila fiber lines
