Hi, I live in Italy but looking for investing in the USA. I have 100k cash available. How can I find a trustworthy real estate agent? I don't have the chance to be present anywhere I choose to invest so I need to trust some professionals to do it for me... Any tips?
Hey how’s it going, I started interning for a commercial real estate/technology company that acts as a mortgage broker in January 2022, I graduated from college with a B.S. in Economics in May of 2022 and started working full time shortly after. I’ve had Transaction (Credit) Analyst/Transaction Manager roles since then. I have learned a lot on the debt side but eventually want to move toward a commercial real estate broker role. Planning on getting my RE license for sure but wanted to know if CFA and REFM certification would be good additions or a waste of time/money. I am also open to other career paths in CRE. Thanks
I think the CFA concepts and subjects one learns for the designation is great for giving an individual a general foundation of investing/finance and how the general finanical mkts work. But having a CFA designaition, in my opinion, is beneficial only if you are going into more a portfolio mgmt role /fixed income role/wealth mgmt/mutual fund /endowment/fund of funds. Even though I have seen people have CFA designations, It iss not very beneficial for more direct investment like PE./VC/CRE. I was previously working in fund of funds where i have experince investing in REITs(pulbic and private), private equity, venture captial and private debt funds .
