@Tt Miller When I was younger, when it snowed I would go to a empty parking lot and practice doughnuts and other things to learn control of my car. It worked. I never had any problems on the road. I think I did it more for fun tho. Lol. And common sense is slow down.
@Tt Miller Thank you. And I too found giving a little speed at a time and causing a slide to learn control. I hope more kids, even grownups, try this. Finding a good spot to do it tho. You were lucky to have the perfect spot!! Oh buy the way. I ended up being a school bus driver for 25 years and drove city bus in the summer. I guess I got enough driving in. You should have seen my snow slides in the winter with the bus!!! Lol the kids loved it!! Have a great weekend Tt.
It baffles me how many people can’t drive in Wichita with an inch and a half of snow lmao! Some of these people shouldn’t have their licenses. The roads weren’t even slick yesterday
Lbz_Dmax 6.6 Ya, that’s not much snow. I remember when I was in Texas and there was 1/2” of snow. Businesses shut down. Or when I lived in Phoenix and it would rain. The drivers were so afraid. Doing 25 on the interstate with white knuckles.
@@meredithbenjamin6694 we used to get really good snow back in the 80's & 90's. In March of 93 we had snow and ice on the ground for a month. Now we're lucky to get little flurries
