You do know that this based on a play that is almost 30 years old, based on a book that is over 123 years old and inspired by a film that is over 100 years? And there have been at least 5 Oz movies in the last 50 years based on it? Most people know how this going to end.
@@Gonk , yeah but based on the original story, we all know the Wicked witch turns bad. And I haven't seen the play, but I know it's about why she turns bad and that her and Galinda we frenemies ending with her turning into what we know as the Wicked Witch. Not know what this movie is about is like how people didn't know what Rent was about when that movie came out. Most people knew it was about AIDS even if you didn't see the play, because the play was so poplar and had been around for almost 2 decades before the movie was made. The only spoiler I see is the trail is the Wizard making her the fall guy, I didn't know that, but that can't be the whole story, there supposed to be part 2 for the movie.
Well this story has existed on Broadway for about 20 years and it made a billion dollars, one of the most famous broadway shows of all time. Its fine if you don't like it, but people all over the world do
I'm sure it will be great and fun for some, but I can tell that I'm not the target audience. This isn't for me. But hey neither was Barbie and look how well that did.
They fit most of the story into the trailer, so I don’t understand why they couldn’t fit the musical into one Movie. I hate that they’re doing this in two parts.
Ariana is a phenomenal music artist. But actress? I'm not so sure. I still have memories of that grating voice she put on as Cat Valentine. My niece loved it though.
This looks like it confuses the concept of a villain entirely. They've taken a villain and turned her into a normal protagonist. Meanwhile, the normal characters are showing villainous traits. It's quite confusing. The movie will probably pretend that the concept of morals is somehow confusing. Woke AF crap.
Well there were many "black-green witches" that played on Broadway and the West End before Cynthia came to the scene. Go to a theater for once in your life
Here's the movie. The white girl acts badly to "green" girl, but green girl has magical powers that she doesn't know how to control or use. Then sue suddenly controls it during some heated argument and the hero who loves the white girl, falls in love with greem girl. Then white girl tries to sabotage green girl by helping vilan, but green girl will win. Hmmmm where have i seen this. Oh wait, all racist movies.that say they are not.
