It's SO dry there. It's amazing how little that cloudburst really did. From what it looked like it must have been a hard rain but only very brief since it was still so dry just below the surface. We finally got rain here but it took poor little mini-hurricane DEBBY to do it. We got a total of maybe 5.5 inches over three days. Not a ton, but plenty to end the drought. Very nice job with the stone.

I had forgotten everything you did on this job until you did the drone shots. Wow, you have been on that one for a while. You seem to have gotten under control again so maybe they won't let it get away from them again. In my opinion you run as smooth a grade with a skid steer as I have seen. Chris over at LetsDig18 is another good literally seat of the pants skid steer grade control operator. You have a natural talent for it as well as a lot of seat time. You can't teach that ability to people who don't have the basic understanding of grading. Great work.

Brandon, you’re damn good on that skid loader grading and overall but grading with that dozer looks darn near as good. When I started watching you, you were mainly excavator or skid loader and then you got a dozer. From my time watching you’ve got more seat time in a skid loader (I could be wrong). From my eye and just watching you that dozer is fitting your (seat of the pants) cause you could finish that driveway with either one. Great job Brandon. Appreciate the video.

Now she’s starting to look like a homestead! I could almost hear the contractor cursing when he found the dumpster blocking the driveway… how dare you put sh!t in his way and cause him to walk 50 feet! The weathermen and weather apps keep promising rain… and Mother Nature keeps laughing… just a typical SW MO summer!

Dozers cutting edge is getting worn down have you flipped them over yet.
