Wieliczka city : One of the biggest surprise of Poland ! 

This is my city. I'm glad you like it, but in recent years it has unfortunately lost a lot of greenery - a lot of trees were cut down, completely without any sense or need. The Upper Market Square was beautiful, surrounded by trees and benches, and there were gardens. In the middle of the square there was an old - actually historic - fountain... I don't know who was bothered by the fact that the square was functional. Now it's a stone slab.... We had a community center (this large, two-story red brick building) next to the castle, and a cinema. Both of these buildings were taken by Wieliczka offices... sad and sad, because Wieliczka residents are not fighting for anything. The best pub and cafe was in the castle, it was called "Zamkowa", but it could not withstand the monetary policy in the city and ceased to exist during the pandemic. In general, the last - more or less - decade of rule by the city hall has spoiled and irrevocably destroyed a lot, but that's also true in Krakow...
