As a retired veteran w severe back problems and husband and father to vertically challenged people (lol), I found some grab handles on Amazon that utilizes the truck’s rear grab handle to help all of us get in and out of our Tremor with full Carli e-venture suspension and 37s. I have two longer strapped handles to reach the front area just past the driver/passenger seatbelts, and two short grab handles for the rear door/seats.
Thanks for coming back and checking out the vids. I love my Chevy, but, my wife just can't see out and freaks out. That being said, anyone shorter, may take into consideration their comfort level when driving these big guys if they can't see.
I really like the ford trucks i wanted a f350 with the 7.3 with 4.30 gears. But i end up with a 3500 chevy with the 6.6l gas. I didnt trust the 7.3l engine with all the issues they have.
Good video and her opinions are valid . Chevy seats are fine for me and the tailgate is a great work platform. It has become clear that the GM 6.6 has with the 10 speed is better mileage when not towing. But....either one works well with 17k and under towing......
I've only sat in a couple of the newer GM HD trucks, never took one for a drive yet which would cause one to realize what one likes or dislikes of the positioning or the seat comfort ( if driven for some distance .. never going to happen on a dealer test drive ). But your wife is so right, I could as a 6'4" guy think something is good for room and can see around and over the hood quite fine. Conversely I could get into a smaller SUV or car and feel like I may as well be in a "smart car" cramped etc where as someone on the other end of the spectrum fits a vehicle like that, like they were made for it. So its interesting to see a Ford pickup with the correct options has the ability to fit a wide variety of people because some vehicles certainly don't tailor themselves to fit outside of a fairly narrow range of people sizes.
My wife, 5'2 Filipina has yet too drive either of my pickups, a 12 Ram 2500 cew cab 4x4 (6.7 Cummins and G56 manual) or the 22 F-250 Tremor 7.3 Godzilla, she enjoys her Lexus GX-470.
@@dundonrl I think the 7.3 would be easier than the g56......but your wife is like mine, she likes her car. Lol....on a side note, hold on to that Ram manual.....you have a very rare rig!
@DynoVox I do review products, typically the ones I buy, I will try and mix it up to show the difference, but I'm not sponsored by anyone. I haven't been asked by anyone to do their product, although I would as long as they were open to fait and honest reviews of it.
