Always a good thing to address rust issues and prevention while you have access to areas that you wouldn’t normally have access to. Same thing I’m doing with the frame swap on my OBS Z71 on my channel.👍🏻

Looking good. Check on the frame rail on the driver side, between the cab and the bed. There may be another wire harness specifically to run a plug into the bed. My 2003 2500HD has one.
