This is a WiFi extender review from our hunting camp. We purchased the TP-Link EAP650-Outdoor WiFi extender. We show the WiFi extender setup and review
its performance at distances up to 450 feet.
We were able to have fiber installed at our hunting camp. To be in the middle of nowhere, our WiFi has speeds of up to 500Mb. Since the hunting club members are sharing the cost of the WiFi, we wanted a WiFi extender so that folks in cabins and campers could watch TV and telework.
We ordered the TP-Link EAP650-Outdoor and set it up in about 10 minutes. This WiFi extender has worked flawlessly. This review is not sponsored.

We really enjoy our WiFi extender. We hope you like our WiFi extender review.

Hi there, is it working omni directional or is it a pointing antenna? Can you check behind the antenna if there is any connection and how far. Same with 90 degrees to the side :-). Thank you for your testing...

Hi. We do have a family that have a cabin behind the extender that connects to it. I will go back over probably next weekend and can get you data points and distances from 90 and 180 degrees.

Ok. I finally remembered to check. I had good signal for up to about 80 yards behind the extender. It’s not like in front of it but not bad.

I don't have a clue about what you're doing, but do you think it would extend the range on Blink security cameras?

Hi. If those that you have are WiFi enabled, then yes you could move them out up to over 100 yards and still have them work. You may still need power wherever you place them.

Thanks for the reply, I'll give it a shot.

Does this replace internet that you have to subscribe and pay for?

No, this uses the internet that you already have. With its strong wifi signal, you can be farther away from that main source.
