When I was a little kid, I was obsessed with the LEGO Island games. This game reminds of those games. And for that reason, I will probably get this game soon :)

How I've missed the Lego Island series. I hope this game does the Lego Island series justice; from what I've seen it looks pretty cool.

I work at Gamestop and this game is exclusive to WII U only. The wii u is completely backwards compatible which means that all games from the wii and accessories are compatible with the WII U. The system is amazing and this game is going to be incredible. I have an xb360, wii, wii u, ps3, psvita, psp, a pc and a DS and I enjoy all of them! Some systems are better for some reasons others are better for other reasons but whatever they are as long as you are having fun that is all that matters!

i hope it will play like an open world game where the story is divided into events. like the missions are placed around the world and you can choose if you want to do them immediately or explore and look for sidequests. effectively allowing the game to progress at your own prefered pace, kinda like lego island 2

Like some people said about getting memories back from Lego Island. I really hope they remix some music from Lego Island 1, 2, extreme stunts. Like the hospital music from Li1. And put more references to it. Like a pizza dude, who looks like Pepper, or some hospital men that looks like Enter and Return.

either the map isnt going to be as big as everyone hopes or theyre keeping the trailers limited to a small portion of the map, because that San Francisco style road is seen multiple times throughout both trailers, it blurred the gamepad when it showed the map but it came into focus when the scan software screen popped up, and it only showed a second or two of the country looking area with the woods and stuff

The expression on the guys face at the end when he loses his coffee is hilarious!

At first I was a bit skeptical of this game because of previous LEGO games, but I'm really looking forward to this one.

Maybe in every part of the game there are some requirements to meet before you move to the next part or mission, and maybe there are timed obstacles that require the player to try again or try a different mission before coming back. Who knows ? Let´s see when it finally get to the stores.....

Nintendo please advertise this game on every kids program out there. This game is so good and deserves the marketing push. Commercials, bundles, anything. Please don't let the game die.

I'm 25 and I approve this message. Hell, my brother-in-law just turned 31 and he got a LOTR Lego set for his birthday. And loved it. And he's in an MC in multiple hip-hop groups. And he owns a highly successful construction company. Clearly, everybody MUST fall into a pre-defined label with ZERO exceptions, right guys??? I mean, kiddies are the ONLY people who like Legos and super mature adults LOVE wanton violence, don't try to tell me otherwise. Firegodess, I feel bad for you :(

Arkham City for Wii U was a port that was probably rushed to be a launch title, so of course it has its visual glitches from the porting process. Delaying Arkham City beyond launch in order to improve it would've been a waste since it was already out on other consoles. But look at Rayman Legends, a game that was made specifically for Wii U and has taken its time with development. It missed the launch day so that the game be better, and now it's running at 1080p at 60 frames per second.

This is looking to be a pretty funny lego title. Might get it if it comes to the xbox, but i won't be crossing my fingers for it.

When I think about it.... LEGO could make an entire fighting game like SSB just based off all the franchises they've made characters with. EX: Star Wars, Batman, Lego Ninjago, that other new one that's coming out next year, and all their other LEGO series.

I am just posting this in hope of informing the public. I am told that this game, Lego City Undercover, will probably be single player only. Lego games are famous for multiplayer, so this aspect is different from previous Lego Games from TT games.

Because they are fast ports, the developers didn't have enough time to optimize the games for WiiU, its the same for 360 and PS3, some games run and look a lot better on the 360 or PS3. This trailer is from 2 months ago and the gameplay could be even older. The developer from Trine2 said that some of the content in Trine 2 for Wii U wouldn't run on the PS3 or Xbox 360 without downscaling the graphics and the game is running in FullHD 1080p on the WiiU and i have the game, it looks beautiful!!!

I would not say it is a "platformer" it's more of an open world game almost akin to Grand Theft Auto mixed with the gameplay we've seen in past LEGO games such as LEGO Batman 2 and LEGO Lord of the Rings. Main difference seems to be that instead of getting a huge selection of characters swap among, you play mainly (only?) as Chase and he can disguise himself into different roles because, ya know, he's undercover :P
