I didn’t get to experience it because I was like 4 when the Wii U came out in 2012 and then came 2016 I was 7 and begged my parents For a Wii U and my grandma bought me a Wii U for Christmas

I think that would be great. The way I see it, instead of Nintendo just "trying to make money off of an old and tired concept", NSMB games are more like tributes to their side-scrolling history while still introducing new elements to the gameplay and old characters with new 3D models (which is really cool to see). And there are still a few old ideas they haven't used yet. :)

This game is pretty much Super Mario 1, 3 and Super Mario World all rolled into one game with updated visuals. Even has a couple throwbacks to Super Mario 64.

+This Guy you clearly misunderstood what i said. This game is like SMB 1, 3 and World all rolled into one game. Because it is. They included elements of all three of those games in this game. Music, enemies, everything. It's like an updated version of those old games combined into one game.

I really did enjoy the game the gamepad felt smooth great controls and it had a screen camera microphone social media and facetime and you can control any tv in the world with it so along with the Gamecube I think that the WiiU and Gamecube are highly underrated

Yeeeah nice! I got Wind Waker HD free which was cool. I asked the guy in the shop if they sold it and he asked me if I had bought Mario Kart 8 that month and I told him how I had bought it only last week and he gave me a booklet with the list of games possible to redeem for free and said Wind Waker is on there. Very happy with that ahah xD

I agree that these games shouldn't be released as much so they have more time thinking of new things and making better games. This game looks fun and I'm most likely going to buy it. The music is very nice and the graphics look very pretty. I can't wait to sit back, relax and enjoy it.

four players are characters and the 5 player(gamepad player) can create blocks to help them move.or any combo. 1 player and one gamepad ect.

This game should get a remake on the Nintendo Switch. The 4 new characters this remake should have are Wario, Waluigi, Donkey Kong, and Diddy Kong. These 4 new characters should be in a 3 game collection featuring New Super Mario Bros. Wii, New Super Mario Bros. U, and New Luigi U.

Riley Priest Still not gonna happen. The only way I could see it happen if it was a "New Super Mario Bros. ultimate" with everything from every game. (but that is still very unlikely.) But not playable Wario, DK or Diddy Kong. (I could see them do playable Peach, Yoshi, Daisy and Waluigi though)

I've played almost every Mario game out there. When I called it a remake, I was thinking of the same side-scrolling adventure that ALMOST everyone loves. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Mario...but it's practically the same game 4 times in a row.

Here's a neat idea: if they come out with another NSMB (please don't debate their use of the series, that's not the point I'm getting at) they should include Shy Guys and other enemies from SMB2. Unlike other enemies, they can't be defeated by getting jumped on. Instead, Mario could just do the twirl thing to pick up the Shy Guy and throw him. And if a Shy Guy gets swallowed by Yoshi (with Mario riding him), then Yoshi lays an egg which can also be thrown. :)

no. he gets to place blocks though the whole level. or get to troll:) one player could use the wii mote and the other could use the pad. the game has the best co op mode ever. it is crazy fun. i love having 4 people on the screen. it is such a troll game. now with even more because of the blocks

I dont know what you're talking about. since when deos anyone play mario games for the story. I play mario games for a cheery atmoshere, fun platforming, ect. and this game looks to be the best 2d mario game thus-far. the map has branching paths again, the level design looks great, they made a good effort to make lots of new game modes, witch they did, and I like that they're really trying to make this game a true sequel to mario world.

the U stands for you. it means that the gamepad will make games more personalized for you. or "U". that was said at the e3 conference 2011 if you didnt watch.
