I remember playing NSMBW with my classmates who haven't played this game... They easily die, sometimes throw you into the pitfall or killing you with turtle... It's fun at first but repeating that crap too many times and being stuck in a level is boring... :'( . Note: If you're to play this with a newbie... You and their characters better have a 99lives, because 5 is isn't enough for them to revive again... And we had fun playing in World 8-9? (the roller coaster thing :) )

2 player is ok. Anything up though is chaotic.

Wonder, I thought it would make more sense to make a New Super Mario Bros. 3 before moving on to a new trilogy, since we already have the original Super Mario Bros. 3 in the late 80s. Well, as a huge fan of Mario... Just look at this. There's nothing new about this game that's "outstanding". The worlds are the same (grass, desert, water, ice, poison, sky, lava castles) there's barely any new enemies, the music is still the same and uninspired, the artstlye hasn't changed, the sound effects are just as in Mario Wii and don't correspond to the surface they're projecting on... Overall, it's just a bland and uninspired experience. This is basically a continuation of Mario Wii. While this game has different backgrounds, world 1 is still grass, world 2 is still desert, world 3 is still water etc. Yoshi also doesn't have a purpose, he's just there because he was in the old ones... The levels aren't reslly designed for him, despite the fruits. (I love Baby Yoshi, tho, they're cool in this game) there's no new items and the only new powerup is the Acorn... And just look: This game was TRYING to be Super Mario World. Take a look at World 1's background, and then look at the background of the mountains in Super Mario World, they're the same. They have Baby Yoshi's New, there's Torpedo Teds, the same big fish... They even reused Star Road, which had no purpose either. The boss fights are also the same; Koopalings. 3D World did SOOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER. God damn was that creative. It was much more fun and creative than this

Abit2Deadly4U / Enchanted Draconem if 3 is ice then it literally has the EXACT same world order as Wii..... ya it's kinda sad that this game brought nothing new. Especially since they were going for similarities with Super Mario World, they could have made it more like it, like having a cape feather or secret exits with keys or switch palaces. The biggest problem with the game is how it lacks any new major gameplay elements. Even the baby yoshis didn't really change anything, and were in Super Mario World anyway. All of the previous Mario platformers at least had SOMETHING.
