NO NO NO HOW DID I MISS IIIIIT D: Damn, I'm european, I didn't know... Argh D: were there any prizes by the way? Oh and good job to the winner! I gotta say that only some of those art were really the best, but oh well, it's personal! And for me- the last one is the best of all! Love the blue themed ones too ~ Nintendo, why not make one of these contest in Europe with a possible 2014 symphony of the goddesses? I still hope for it...

Only the top five got a prize (I'm assuming the first five that were shown, since I know the first two were grand prize winners); for the rest of us, the prize was just having our art shown in the slideshow. :) So...bragging rights.

Totally. I agree that the PS first party titles have some great unique styles like Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, and Jak and Daxter. It would have been better if I said that many PS and Xbox games focus on intensity and realism, as there are plenty that do fall under the special category. However, I just think Nintendo's focus is more on this in general and really creates those memories for me. And my opinion isn't set in stone or actual truth, yours is as true as mine for what we each think.

Xbox and Playstation revolve around games that have violence and conflict in them. Nintendo does that in Zelda but it also has honour and beauty which is why it can inspire such great art. I know which one I think is adding to our culture in a positive way. Beautiful !

i remember when this game first came out and got harshly criticised for its kiddy art style....i loved it back then and i still do now, one of the very few games back then to still look good today

it looks very beautiful :) although, I recommend you not ask people to see your stuff, and rather let them ask you how to get to your stuff. it's like when youtubers ask people to subscribe. it just shows that the person is very desperate for subs, and just ensures no one will ever subscribe as long as you keep asking. trust me, I speak from personal experience.

It's not about that. I own a Wii U, a PS3 and a 360, so I'm not biased either way, but the Wii U really is failing at the moment. It's a powerful console, but is lacking games. You seriously would have to be casual not to see this. This is what everybody means by this game "saving" the U. In fact, this was one of the core reasons of mine for getting a U, and I can't be the only one out there who sees it like that ;)

PS and Xbox games are intense and realistic. Nintendo games...are unique and magical. Both styles are amazing contributions to the gaming industry. If you are going with one console or series instead of another, no need to bash the things you have to pass on. If I could, I would get every console and play many more series, even some that are competitors with each other. But I can't. It doesn't mean the things I don't buy or enjoy or the people who do like them should be immaturely put down.

Nintendo let me be honest and clear I love the zelda franchise but where's our hard core titles and you said you where going back to your hard core fans I feel like there's empty promises and just to let you know you cant go into this year with the same business as the wiiu you should be knocking on 3 party doors to get these titles no battlefield no destiny some of these 1 party titles don't appeal to core gammers all your younger fans that loved these titles have grown up we need a fesh start

Wish I had time to submit an entire. I'm currently working on a custom Wind Waker themed GameCube that will look like a wooden chest from Wind Waker. Added a portable screen and Game Boy Player. Hopefully it will be finished soon so I can post a video on my channel. Check out my other custom systems :D

Oh my gosh... Why did I tear up? I haven't even started playing this game yet and I'm still getting emotional! I don't get it.... The Legend of Zelda is the ONLY thing that can make me feel do something like that. It's so powerful... The music, the animation, the history, and overall the amazing story. God I love this game so much...

To their credit, Sony has walked a balance between magical and realistic. ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, Echochrome, Tearaway, Journey, The Last Guardian, and Okami are just a few examples of magical, unique experiences PlayStation has, too. Platform shouldn't matter.

That's obvious. Wii-U have very few hardcore games. It's missing the great third parties games like GTA V, FIFA 14, The Division, ect... But I think it's a little too late for that. PS4 and Xbox One have gotten the thirds support already. Wii-U is beyond saving.

I can be wrong, but i guess that are the reasons: If they sell more consoles, more people will buy their games. If more people have Wii U, more games will be developed for Wii U. Unlike Sony and MS, Nintendo have the major part of their profits by selling their games not by console.

WW is the first game I ever bought with my own money. I bought the GameCube and pre-ordered WW so I got the bonus disc with Ocarina of Time and Master Quest. And I beat it without any help. It stands as one of the best Zelda games I ever played. Definitely can't wait to get my hands on the HD remake.

I'm already broke buying The Wind Waker Wii U bundle, Wind Waker Ganondorf figurine bundle, pre-ordered A Link Between worlds and a ton of Wii U / 3DS games coming over the next few months. A fan website with everyone's drawings will be fine. Thanks for the video Nintendo :)

Hell, there was a Wind Waker 3...(Spirit Tracks) I think an entire trilogy is sufficient. Plus they said that they finally found the perfect art style with Skyward Sword, and the next title will be using that style. (Albeit modified for an HD experience)

Now that I've seen this, I wish that I could have appreciated the game some more. I played it in high school and drew a lot of it on my homework. I even drew a lot of it on sketchpads, heck I even have a whole mess of Zelda fanart that I did most of 2K.

Ahh. Great Art. Presented over the music as played by the orchestra in Symphony of the Goddesses. I do like some of the imagination used like taking the characters out of their normal surroundings or doing Legendary mural designs.

The music reminds me of when I had Wind Waker for the GameCube. God, where did the time go? I used to spend all day playing that game. Now, I probably won't be able to play it again because of the price of the Wii U.

Rageplane- or go back to the roots like the original or Paper Mario TTYD. Super Paper Mario 2 would be better than another game like Sticker Star though. Disappointing game in an amazing series. Hopefully they bounce back!

Try starting with tracing to get a feel for the shapes, then move on to using a base of geometric shapes, then stick men. You can find lots of videos. The secret to art is really just patience and perseverance.

True, but Rare Ware still owns the rights to many other (good) games. By buying Rare Ware they would also get those rights. Which can result in some really interesting games

No, this is from the Zelda Symphony that tours around. The songs in-game (though a few are indeed remastered) aren't orchestrated.

I hope i have not missed anything either!!!! But I think that there aren't kikwis in Wind Waker HD. At least I'm sure that in the gamecube version there were none.
