Fun fact: Nice Guy Ballad is how I found Wilbur, way back in the day right after it was released. Except, here's the catch. I watched the video (multiple times might I add, I thought it was quite brilliant) and then literally did not listen to any more of his music or even bother remembering his name. Fast forward like two yearsish, (it was like January 2020 I believe?) and I find his minecraft content! Except, I don't realize it's him. I watch him for literally multiple months, the entire time thinking "Hey, this guy looks like someone I know" but I just figured he had a familiar face (my facial memory is also notoriously awful, I once didn't recognize a good friend of mine because he had a wig on). Then, I discover his music! You'd think that would make me realize, but oh no. I listened to Your City Gave Me Asthma and the E-girl songs on a regular basis, sitting here like "Wow, he's so talented, I'm so glad I finally found his music :)". It's literally not until I found this video a few months ago that I made the connection. Mind. Blown.

also can we talk about how respectful it was of him to chose to change some of the "Nice Guy Ballad" lyrics to make it pg bc there were minors in front of him? And how even after all of them shouted at him not to change it he remained w clear w his decision and even stating "i wouldn't be comfortable"? I just love how sure he was in wanting to do what's right and ofc how the public respected his will as well

Gotta be honest, it’s kinda nice to see Wilbur just being Will, because when he’s streaming he’s Wilbur but when we see him in real life he’s Will. He’s like every human, gets awkward in social situations but is still extremely nice and sweet.
