well i have mixed emotions aswell but ehh i thank him for being funny and a good song and for being at the dream smp he may have lost his reputation but he left his legacy in the minecraft community

Okay, when I first heard this song I was fricking h y p e d, it's literally in the top 5 of my favorite Derivikat songs, and I got even more excited when I saw his reaction- Y'all, you don't understand- Me and my sister full on memorized the lyrics, and now whenever this song comes on in the car we're just full on screaming the lyrics- the rap bit was so hard to master lmao....
I came across the song on Spotify and loved it. Had no idea till I looked further into what this was about. I don't follow the SMP stuff, but I had no idea how, like, deep the story and lore was. Very cool overall.
I haven't been interested in the dsmp for a while but I just got back into watching old videos while drawing, and just watched the dsmp finale on Tommy's channel going on a nostalgia trip today

I remember hearing this song at some point a really long time ago, and I kinda thought it sucked before I was into the smp. And then I kept seeing reaction videos for the song in my recommendations after I got into the DreamSMP and, thinking they looked cringe, I avoided them. I thought it was some random song, as I had pretty much forgotten that I had heard it at some point. I then decided to suck it up and watch one of the videos and I heard the song and remembered that I had heard it somewhere before, and realised it was the same song from a couple years ago-

I’m so sad that I only learned about the dream smp and Wilbur and Tommy and everyone after it was over and all the streams were pretty much gone, because I know 100% from other random videos and channels of them interacting that this group is the best not only at improv, but also knowing exactly where the line is between not taking themselves too seriously, and overacting so much that it becomes cringy. They all play off each other so well and just Damn. I wish I hadn’t missed it. I know I could probably look around RU-vid and find some crazy fans 1000+ hour playlist of every stream ever recorded or something, but I don’t have the time to sift through all of that😭😭
Honestly dsmp was great it was fun but now that it’s gone it’s definitely kinda sad. So much grew from it. I watched most of it all the way up to the death of techno. It was the end for dsmp anyways but techno was my favorite and losing him was horrible right at his peak he was lost. Fun to see new people still come in and enjoy just as much as the people of the time.
If you want, you can go back to their channels and older videos to watch all the dsmp and lore streams, Tommy posted them on his channel, it's what I do since I joined in 2020 just after it began but I didn't have twitch
I usually dislike songs with overly repetitive verses (usually over 3 times gets me annoyed.) But the fact that it’s my favourite verse changes my mind. THEY ALSO DO IT SO FLIPPING WELL!
This song came up on my recommended on Apple Music before I knew it was based on lore from DSMP I haven’t watched much from the DSMP other than stuff including Slimecicle, but I really loved the song regardless

@@gathor_ I honestly don't follow the dsmp members anymore but I heard that Wilbur was sh!tty and abusive to Shelby and his apology to her and everyone sucked 🤷 it doesn't seem like a big enough issue for a court case, also considering it happened a while ago I believe.

Normally when I played this a lot I didn't have Spotify so I used Amazon music, and for some reason, me and my 3 siblings songs were all connected to my mother's Amazon music profile, that means if you played your recent song that you played, some others would get in, so when my mother was playing music when company was over this came on and guess what she said ?😭 *"Whys that playing?! Alexa, skip! No one in this house listens to that bull(kit)! "*
