Wild donkeys join the fun along the trail, as you hike through emerald hills in full spring flower display. Travel through breathtaking views of rolling hills, meadows and dazzling yellow flowers, and greenery all around you. Come join a happy little couple as we journey and discover friendly gentle wild donkeys along the path.
Few experiences compare to wild life encounters, this was unique and very satisfying to say the least. The donkeys we meet, happily let us pet and talk to them, they were very calm and receptive to human interaction. Hike Bytes would rate this animal encounter as priceless and 5 Star. Most hikes do not include animal encounters this was a special destination for animal lovers.
Although these animals seem tame, remember they are wild donkeys that roam freely. Be careful and use wisdom, we let them approach us first. We read donkeys are very protective of their young foal. Also do not go behind a donkey or back end, a donkey kick can be very harmful, don't be uninformed its not recommend to allow small children around them without full adult supervision.
Authorities ask that no one feed the wild donkeys, this causes them to depend on humans rather than foraging for their own food in the wild. Please obey the rule, you are helping the donkeys, they love coming up to say hi without food anyway. Please no harrasing the donkeys.
