I have visited Bend a dozen times over the last 20 yrs and have two more planned visits in the next several months. Even with all of that I can not help myself and am constantly looking for youtube videos on Bend - LOL. Thanks for sharing - this is a great video with really good and well rounded suggestions for a Bend trip.

Wow, that’s terrifying 👀 Whilst hiking last year in France I nearly stood on an adder. I saw it at the last second and managed to land my foot to the side of it, then it slithered off thankfully

Awesome ! Hint the further upstream you go the cleaner the water would be away from the crowds . Towards Bridge to nowhere . We would stay away from the Oakes picnic area. That place is very over crowded. Hope this helps! 😀😀
@@hikebytes cool thanks! will def keep that in mind. If I may ask another question, is there more parking spots along the way too or is it better to park like at the picnic area or something then walk up?
Park at the Bridge to Nowhere parking lot if there is parking. There should be if you go early in the morning . We were there around 7:30 or 8:00 am . Make sure you have an Adventure Pass $5 for the day or $30 for the year . You can pick them up at REI , Big 5 and some 7 Elevens in that area .Only oark where parking is allowed otherwise you may get towed! 😳😳

Hi and thank you for watching! We went on a Wed. Very early in the morning around 7:30 and it was a hot day so the sun was shining and water felt amazing ! There are more pools up stream towards Bridge to Nowhere too .. enjoy ! 😀😀

Oregon is amazing, we have had many incredible adventures there, but had not started our channel yet. This vlog covers easy access hikes because of the baby coming, could not be too far away and no cell service. He is a cute healthy amazing boy. Are you a grandfather yet ?
Hi, welcome 😀😀 we put an all trails link with directions to the trail head of Bridge to Nowhere and the vlog shows the trail down to the San Gabriel River. All we did was follow the river downstream until we found swim holes and rock pools we liked. The last spot is about 1/2 mile downstream. Hope that helps 🙌🙌
Oregon is so different than California. We Love both states 🙌🤩🤩 we recommend Bend (Central Oregon) for gorgeous outdoor adventure.
