Wild Arugula are amazing plants that grow well even in the heat of summer. They are drought tolerant and require very little care. This is a must-grow if you live in hot and dry climate.
i love arugula and i agree with everything you said. i'm growing four kinds and i'm about to add a 5th. i'm in a hot desert and they grow without help - esp. the wild varieities. in fact, some regular and wasabi arugula have recently germinated (orig. planted last summer) and are growing in 100 deg weather, no problems. it's really a survival crop that is never on anyone's list. one of my original plants is 4 feet wide because i never bothered to cut it back.
I need to get some wild arugula, here in West Coastal Florida, wild arugula would do better with this heat than regular this time of year, thanks for sharing🌱🌱
Where do you get your wild arugula seeds from? I bought some of the regular kind and don't like it so much. It's not spicy at all and it has a strange aftertaste. I think I was wanting the wild kind.
