Today we are testing and reviewing another product from WILD BADGER. I have worked with this company in the past with their gas powered backpack blower, and I have had great success with it. So when they asked to collaborate once again, I was willing to do so. For today's video we are checking out the 40V String Trimmer and Edger. Val has been looking for a lightweight, simple to use string trimmer for a while now and this is right up her alley. Brad you look 10 years younger! You look good though. 4 years ago I switched to a Ryobi 40 volt trimmer and blower. Best decision I’ve ever made. I can trim my one acre lot on one charge. My battery is 4 years old now and still works great. I bring my batteries in the house over the winter and put them in a Tupperware container. Another great thing is that I don’t have any carburetor issues anymore. Another great feature is that I crank the string in the trimmer and it never gets jammed up. So yes I am a happy camper.

The losing the Grizzly Adams look definitely removes at least 10 years from your appearance. Keep it trimmed and groomed and you'll keep everyone happy.

Definitely like the cleaner look! Been with you from the very beginning and witnessed the changes and this is the winner. You will definitely like during the hot summer months for sure! Glad Val enjoyed the Badger trimmer.

1) The trim is a definite improvement. You not only look younger, but the scruffy look just ain’t cool. 2) Not a big fan of the battery powered equipment craze either. However after years of fighting with gas trimmers I broke down and bought a battery powered trimmer. Shoulda bought one years ago! It’s grab and go. Always starts and really works better that expected. Still not my favorite type of yard work, but definitely a lot more pleasant.

That always happens to me when I let my beard grow long and then shave it, lol. You guys will be fine with the battery powered equipment. Three years ago, I bought the Milwaukee handheld blower and trimmer. Both have served me well. The blower gets used when I need to do a quick job or blow my ZTR off, instead of having to start my big backpack blower. Because I don’t use the trimmer that much,…I don’t have to worry about keeping it serviced in between periods of use.

The beard trim looks good, I think it should be an occasional thing but not necessarily an all the time thing. The first 20 years of my career I was clean shaved but have got used to the goatee thing the last 9 years. Good product demo video 👍

High & tight and new beard...definitely! It says "I'm retired service/LEO...or am I ?". When I shave off the winter face warmer my wife also says it's like having a new husband (still haven't figured if that's a compliment!).

To see you going from the clean shaven occifer to the ultimate Hillbilly, I prefer the cleaner look. Even now it’s a much nicer look but whatever makes your wife happy! And you were getting to be a bit of a fire hazard with the long beard!

Atleast 10 years younger and a lot cooler this summer. My wife asked for an electric weedeater, best chose I've made. 24v kobalt combo with a blower.

I grow my beard every winter to keep my face warm and then in the springtime I'll shaved down to a goatee my wife doesn't care for my beard but she knows I grow one every winter but she does like the goatee. Your wife seems to like your beard shorter but in the winter time it's nice to have your beard thicker to keep your face a lot warmer

Definitely better without the beard Brad. You look tears younger 😊. I bought my wife a Bosch cordless strimmer, as she's quite slight and has trouble with recoil starters. I'm like you though, still don't have that much faith in battery products for now. Much prefer 2 or 4 stroke petrol tools.

When I was 9 I came up with the idea of an electric string trimmer. My mother being so negative put this idea down as being stupid. I did mention it in the 4th grade to a classmate. Downfall there was the people in that town were very welthy executives in NYC. That was 61 years ago.

Ok, I'm being a little noisy here, I missed a few videos and have been trying to catch up. I was out falling timber in northern California. I also watch other firewood websites here on RU-vid and one is Hard Working Man. I've been busy catching up on these videos. Val starts out on this video, I was taken back, I thought there for a minute, it was Rachel from Hard Working Man. I even may have said a few things to myself. I have a beard also, I cut my beard back a-lot, like you. I use a #3 comb on the razor, its a cake walk, looks good a feels better. Every body says I look better.

I have Kobalt battery operated weed eater, blower, etc...... Few other tools that also use the battery. It is very nice and light weight. One battery I can weed eat and blow my entire yard/sidewalk.

I'm letting my Beard grow out long like you had yours,,, quite a few years now I've shaved my Beard off Multiple times & just had a long chin Goaty Beard & my face felt empty without a full Beard so I'm close to 4 months in regrowing my Amish looking Beard
