If you would like to help me purchase my next budget tent to review and test out for the channel, there is a link below for any kind donations that would allow me to do so. www.buymeacoffee.com/campingant9
Hi ant, you can use it free of charge for a couple of months if you like? I've bought it for the summer time really, and I can't get out much at the minute due to work commitments, so happy for you to use it and review it like the Bob cat?
Great review, with lots of helpful tips. I bought my Bobcat at the end of last summer and wasn’t sure if I’d made the right decision but your video has given me the confidence in the tent.
Morning Mark, thanks mate. I'm glad you enjoyed the vid. Ahh cool, yeah I'm sure you'll be impressed with it through the harsher months. We coming up to spring so can wait to have some more trips out in it in better weather conditions haha. Thanks again pal, Ant 👍
Nice one Ant Like your mod for the inner will do that with mine👍 You will defo love the helm 1 compact got that bad boy ! Your love it 👌👍 Cheers Graham
Morning Graham, thank you pal. Yeah it helps big time mate, I'd definitely give it a try. Yes, I like the look of the Helm 1 but there are others I'd like yo look into also. There's just not enough time or money haha. Thanks bud for your comment and watching the video
Morning Phil, yeah it's a beast mate, I love it. Yeah I'm really fancying the Helm 1 but looking at the amount of new video's online at the moment, is there a point me covering it, I'm not sure 🤔
I reckon you should test out a Naturehike tent, very budget friendly but do get some stick for copying 'other' styles while also suggesting they are 4 season when some of the big hitters on RU-vid suggest they aren't!
Hi mate, yeah I do. I use the Cloud Peak 2 buddy. I must agree, I wouldn't say its a four season tent. I certainly wouldn't want to be in it on top of a mountain in windy weather bud. I was just talking to another chap about this tent. If you get your hands on thicker poles it may stand a chance but then again he was talking about the zappers failing so I dunno. Cheers pal, thanks for having a watch, Ant 👍
You have provided the Empirical Evidence Ant so a debate over it being a 4 season tent isn't really worthwhile , Not all 4 season tents do the job equally as good as each other or if at all as you have proved and for 50 quid its a no brainer if you are on a restricted budget. Great review, well done.
Oh thank you so very much Olan, lovely comment that pal, cheers! Yeah it is a proper bargin 4 season tent in my eyes mate. It allows people to be able to get out and experience the cold season at a cheaper cost as oong as people make sure they have a decent sleep system (which I have) your good to go in some of the more challenging conditions. Thanks again matey 👍
Morning Eze, hope you are well matey? Yeah the Cloud Up 2 looks a ace tent. I need to look into that too pal. Bug thanks for watching, it's much appreciated
Aww thanks matey, glad your ok. We need that trip or a trip sorting out finally don't we pal. We'll all have to get our heads together again, hopefully book it so Paul can come too!!
This is an excellent review, I've just bought one and been looking for something thorough. Great video, thanks for the upload and sharing the experience. New subscriber 👍
Hi there and welcome. Thank you very much for subbing mate, I appreciate it. Thanks for the kind words. Yeah there seems to be a lot of high-end RU-vidrs that seemed to have jumped on the band wagon after my numerous videos where I put the Bobcat through serious weather condition tests. I'm not bragging but you will get more than just a one nighter in a woods with a bit of rain with my reviews. Stay tuned for this autumn and winter tent I'll be taking to destruction this year! Thanks again mate, Ant
Nice one Ant! Just had a mate starting up wild camping and advised him to get this tent. He'll be watching your vids as recommendation. Told him I'll buy it off him if he ends up not liking it.
Morning Steve, hope your well pal? Ahh that's great! Always ace when you hear someone new is starting out on the amazing hobby. Brilliant, thank you for sending him over here for a look Steve. I'm sure he will love it mate. All the best and thank you again pal
Looks like a pretty decent tent mate with a lot of bang for the buck! Maybe not for a big fellow like myself though and unfortunately is my tent account locked during 2023 😂
Morning Anders mate, yeah it's a cracker. As Lein said, £75 would be perfect for it, that's affordable. Yes, if your tall you may struggle pal. Big thanks as always for watching matey 👍
Yes i have just bought one on Ebay tonight for £89 little deer but im pleased i got it and especially after seeing this video even more pleased. I bought a naturehike cloud peak 2 but it said it was a 4 season tent but having got it although don't get me wrong i love it but im into my winter wild camps and my other tents are the eurohike tamar 2 and mountain warehouse so this will definitely do me for that so thanx again for the tips in your video and ill let you know what i think when i get it. Oh and im about 5/8 and about 140lb so it should suit me dwn to the ground 😊
Top job mate, you won't be disappointed. Yeah the cloud peak is a good tent just definitely not a 4 season. It certainly can't take too much wind. The Bobcat on the other hand... get some ground anchors and pitch it with the pole into the wind and your laughing
@@AntSurviveTheNight yes ill remember that mate another thing you can do with the tent is were its only got one guyline each side put another two on it and nothings movin that then thats what im gunna do with it when it comes friday and get out in it aswell not only that got myself a new insta 360 x3 camara so itchin to get out
After all that I'd say its good enough to be called four season ant and as for the price you can't go wrong 🏕💯 fantastic reviews there ant the one in the 70 mph winds was epic m8 👍
Morning Craig mate, yeah definitely mate, it's solid! Thank you very much pal and glad you've enjoy the series of test vids, I really do appreciate it dude
Hello Cambs, thank you very much, very kind of you to say. I'm glad people like yourself have enjoyed it and fingers crossed it helps people make the correct choice for them. Cheers, Ant 👍
Looks like you both had a great camp on this one Ant. That Bobcat is certainly doing you proud. Some interesting cooking too. Bet that chicken took forever on that little plate. Didn't realise we did those little pots 🤣 they look good though and I'll have to keep an eye out for them and give them a go👍
Hi Benny mate, yeah it was a fab place to spend time bud. Yes, it's a beast, love spending time in it that's for certain. Ahh cheers mate, yeah it filled a little corner haha. Was too bad cooking time if I'm honest. Oh boy! Yeah you gotta give this a try, pick a box up if you can tomorrow you'll love them mate all are very tasty. Thanks pal, your a star!
Hi Ant mate, good review, really enjoyed them all for the bobcat 1 as I’ve got one. Have a look at another RU-vidr called “Camping Caledonia” or summat like that, he’s done a mod on the back side to pull the fabric out better to stop drooping and flappin of the fabric. Worth a watch 👌. Really itching to get mine out now proppa. Had it out in the garden once just to check the difficulty of the pole connection, and to be honest it wasn’t all that bad, just did it like you said with a bit of pressure on it 👍 all the best, look forward to you next vid 16:35
Hi Steven, thank you very much matey, I'm chuffed you've enjoyed the series of test videos. I've really enjoyed myself making them that's for sure. Ahh cool yeah the mods for it are class, I'll have a look pal. I will be definitely doing something with the back of it. Glad you aren't having issues with the pole too mate. Thanks a bunch for watching and also for your comment buddy. 👍
I thought I'd watched all your Bobcat videos, but I somehow missed this one 🤦♂ Definitely agree with other comments regarding you getting some sort of recognition from Go Outdoors or OEX for what you've done for this super little tent. I think I've said before, nobody has tested this tent more than you as far as I can see. A couple of things I have noticed.... I bought my Bobcat around July last year (another sale and got it for £54 😁) and it has 2 guy lines attached to the pegging points on the pole which makes it even more stable. OK, you do have to add a couple of extra pegs to be able to utilise these to their full potential, but we have a set of pegs that goes out with every tent so always have more than enough. Although I'm 6'2" I'm a permanent side sleeper and apart from when I wake up first thing in the morning and possibly need a stretch, there's ample room for me to sleep in it 😴 As I don't use trekking poles, my fix for the rear guy was to pick up a cheap piece of aluminium rod, cut it to the same size as the original pole when folded and then dremmel a grove in to wrap the rear guy around. Only adds about 100-150g to the overall weight, and cures the rear sagging problem 👍
yes i take my 14 pegs off my cloud peak 2 with any of my 4 tents and you have well anough then and were you have one guy line on each side put 2 each side nothings moving it then
Some fantastic locations in Yorkshire. Definitely worth crossing the border for those views and the Limestone escarpment . Spent many a Great Day in that area. Beautiful Atb Rick n Billydog
Morning Rickster, yes mate I would love to explore more around Yorkshire for sure, bet there's millions of locations much like this one pal. Get yourself right and we'll hit a few buddy!
I found out about the Bob Cat 1 on UTube - saw 3 or 4 videos. Decided I’d buy it but living in the States I couldn’t find it. I finally had to order it from England and of course pay all that postage. However, in the end, I really like the Bob cat l. Everyone seems to like it. If you’re more than 6 ft tall you’ll have to sleep with bent knees. This is my 4th tent. I bought one that was too heavy for backpacking. My 2nd tent was light weight but I couldn’t sit up in it. I meditate so I wanted one with more head room. I bought a bevy tent. I thought it would be a good tent in the winter but it didn’t have vents. Nix to that tent. Finally, the OEX Bobcat 1. It was lightweight enough for hiking and bicycle touring. Does pretty well in wind. I’ll use it as a 3 season tent - that’s enough for me. Thanks for your video.
Yeah they are a great tent mate aren't they. I'm with you in the size, I fit pretty much perfectly in mine. It certainly keeps the heat in yo with the inner, I love it pal. Perfect for your hiking and biking gigs isn't it. Good stuff!
Great video! I am sure you could stitch on a bit of silicone tubing on that flap to guide the water off to the sides. Should also make the inner 220cm, but 200 is great for the kids (and kid size men)! 😂 Very similar to my Tarptent Rainbow being a single pole style tent. Love the headroom.
Hello again Norseman, hope your well pal. Thank you very much mate. Yeah not a bad idea that. Haha yes it could do with being a bit bigger for sure. Tarptent Rainbow, I'll have to look at that. Yeah head room is massive for me. Big thanks pal for watching 👍
@@AntSurviveTheNight Tarptent makes some great stuff, and not extremely over priced either. If you want to try the bivy life I’f recomend a regular bivy like the large OEX bushpro and a tarp. Hooped bivys really are for mountaineering and tactical use, not so much for fun. If you want to try ultralight Borah gear makes tarps and bivy bags for a fair price, also Gramexpert has some good offerings too. And don’t forget MLD :)
hello Ant. Hope you are well. Not done much this year due to some tragic circumstances in my family. 😪Anyroad, I've recently bought this tent to get back into the wild camping swing 🙂. So hoping to try it out at some point. I did a wild camp virtually on the edge of Malham cove a few years ago with one of my grandsons. Its a superb place indeed. Great video mate, lots of good advice indeed. Cheers. Billy 🙂
Hello Billy, not seen you in ages mate and now I know why. I really do hope everything is ok now for you, all the very best to you Billy mate. Ahh good stuff buddy, I'm sure you will love it pal, it's a great little tent, very versatile, light and easy to put up, even in string winds haha. Yeah Malham Cove as been on the radar for ages so I'm glad I've now ticked it off. Oh boy, bet that was pretty nerve wrecking right on the edge! Big thanks for watching mate and once age all the very best to you pal.
Hi ant , apologies for the late view been mad busy .....what a great series/review on the bobcat , an unbelievable tent mate and deserves its place as a top tent, fantastic video mate appreciated all the best marra 😀 👍 🏕
Morning Gary! No worries at all buddy, I know you've been crazy busy. Fire place is looking amazing too, can't believe how fast you've done it. Ahh thank you very much man, I appreciate that. Glad people seem to have enjoyed it pal. I love if mate and will have a place in my hall of fame for sure. Thank matey and hopefully get out with you soon.
I just want to say a big thank you for putting my mind at rest concerning the performance of the Bobcat , as next month I am walking lands end to john o groats on my own and taking the bobcat ..I was thinking of the naturehike tent but due to it being mainly mesh I can see myself having alot of cold nights ..thanks again, oh by the way the mods to the back fly , time will tell if it holds ..thanks again
Morning Terry, oh fantastic mate that sounds like one heck of an adventure man! Are you doing it for a charity? You will have to keep us updated on your progress Terry 👍. The Bobcat won't let you down mate. You'll be toasty warm throughout your trip.
@Ant Survive The Night not doing it for charity but for my mental health ..looks like I have to get another backpack now as mine is not big enough to get everything in.
Hi Darren, oh wicked mate! I'm sure you will love it as much as me and Leon do. I'm so happy you got it for £49 too man 👍. Haha your the only one who noticed, unfortunately it's bit the dust as soon as I got home due to the wife seeing it 😆
Thanks so much for heads up on attachments for inner. Good idea! I'm looking forward to taking mine out in March to Scotland. Didn't get it quite as cheaply as you, but cheap nevertheless. I had no problem in the end with the pole. I was concerned about that as I have arthritis. It was easy actually. I just bent the pole a bit and it was fine. If it snows in March, I'll let you know if it's four season! To be honest, I've been quite impressed with OEX products.
Hi Jeanette, no worries 👍 yeah they have worked perfectly, no issues at all so pretty happy with them. Yeah Scotland will be ace I'm sure especially in the Bobcat. Glad you had no problem fixing the pole to the eyelets, that's great! Haha yeah stranger things have happened. Enjoy your trip and let me jnow how you get on will ya!
@Ant Survive The Night Many thanks. Will do. I'm off to Corrour. My original plan was Great Glen. Wanted something a bit more remote. Looking forward to it!
Well, nobody can say you didn't put that through it's paces, although to be fair it now needs to be leant to a ham fisted cretin like me (although I am too tall...thankfully) for it's final test. Malham Cove looks beautiful, though I have to admit it's the first cove I've ever seen that you'd not have to worry about the tide.
Haha hi Si mate, yeah it got punished didn't it. Haha yeah might be a little tight for you pal but you can use it by all means mate to try it out and see if it fits you! Yeah it's a stunning place to visit mate, the village is gorgeous too. Haha yeah, pretty decent river at the bottom with a cave so that's where I'll be heading ne t time I go. Thanks buddy!
@@AntSurviveTheNight I meant to say. Try the Eurohike Backpacker Deluxe 2. £49 at Millets, heavier than your OEX but I've heard good things. I swear by my Tamar 2 as a 3 season tent, this is supposed to be better. £49 and British company
What a great tent Ant to stand up to all those conditions. Well worth the money. Loved the Drone footage. Missing the great outdoors. Have a great weekend 😊👍
Hi Cath! thank you very much. Yeah it's a real pleasure to be out in it, definitely a must have shelter in anyone's arsenal. Thank you, I haven't took the drone out much of late so was nice to get it out there again. Hope your OK? Yes you too Cath. Have a fab weekend
@@AntSurviveTheNight aw thanks so much Ant yes thanks all good. It was so nice to see your video and the great outdoors. Looking forward to your next adventure. 👍😊❤️
Hi Chris! Thanks very much matey! Yeah I enjoyed that video of you up there buddy. Haha yeah it's a beast, it will be used and abused even more now I'm sure. Sorry I've not had chance to get on your new video last night, I had a lot on, will be watching intensely tonight mate 👍. Big thanks pal
Solid review that Ant. Try the Helm Compact 1, I think you’ll like that tent even more! Or if you can wangle a free Fjallraven Abisko Lite 1, go for it 😂 👌
Hi Joe, thank you matey! It's gone down really well so I'm very pleased and also very pleased that people trust me and have purchased one off my videos. Yeah I do like the Helm 1 but there seems to be soooo many recent videos on it so people may not want to watch another series with that tent being tested. Haha there's no chance I'll get a freebie Abisko but they are cool. Thanks again Joe for watching 👍
These are the pro's & cons - of Bobcatting! lol. I have a Eurohike Backpacker II dlx - Would say it's more than 3 season. A tunnel tent. I think it's pretty robust and it's survived 40 mile an hour winds, unphased!
Thee's making me hungry there lad, two of my favourites Ant, Jerk Chicken and Pulled pork? I really love a Curry Goat though - that's my top favourite, being a curry is winner straight off - you know it makes sense. That Bobcat is a winner pal. Up Malham one of my favourites too. Top Video. £50 well spent. I bet they're more than that after your videos ...lol. You'd know it seasonality - (posh words..lol) I'd say 4/5 as a 4 season. (can't give 5 ...lol)
Haha hi Mark, just chicken for me and Leon was on chicken too I believe mate. Yeah Goat curry is one of my favourites too! Yeah I love this little tent buddy, it's class. Yes, beautiful place to visit, I've never been before so glad I headed that way. Thanks matey and glad you enjoyed it. As always big thanks for watching the vid and commenting pal 👍
Cracking video Ant and we'll tested out bobcat definitely recommend the helm compact one I've just put a video out on it and will be out in it soon atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Hi there Jimmy mate, thank you buddy and thanks for watching them all dude, I appreciate that. Yes, I've seen it on my feed this morning so gonna get on it tonight pal for sure!
sweet vid ant, tried mine out the other night, was alright although not a massive fan of it its a bit small im 5ft11 but it does have its benefits over others, like heat retention, quick to pitch holds the heat well. ive done a couple of mods to mine to. ive done the rear tie outs and done the inner so it pulls inner of your face.. iv put a vid up if interested.. easy enough mods.. and try a Helm 1 or 2 as you suggested mate..😃
Hi Watty, thank you buddy. Glad your enjoying it. Yeah it can be a tight fit for some people if your taller. Yes, the heat it keeps jn is absolutely fab, it gets toasty in there doesn't it. Ahh cool yeah I'll have to have a look into the mods now the review and test as finished. Thank you matey for watching and for commenting Watty 👍
@@AntSurviveTheNight good content mate.. its tight but not a major issue. the big door is the best part about i think, an the different ways it can be used. i used the tarp with it, works well and gives a nice bit of space. and your welcome bud.
The pole on mine was tight , simply inserted the pole and left it inserted in tent for week , this stretched it just enough to make it nice and easy to fit the pole , I'm 6'1" and yes its tight but manageable
Hi mate, yeah good tip, if you have the room that's a good way of sorting the issue. Ahh ok, I've had a few comments about the size so that's good to know. Cheers for having a watch, Ant.
I currently own an OEX Phoxx II V II and OEX Jackal 11, and love both. If I can find a Bobcat 1 for less than £50.00, I would certainly add one to the collection, just to keep for bike packing.
Hi Eddie, ahh cool yeah I've heard good things about them both. Now you'll have to keep an eye out for it when it's £49 again 😄. They are very much an excellent option to have in your arsenal. Thanks Eddie, Ant 👍
eurohike Tamar2... different role to the lightweight compact bobcat... but if u want roomey interior space to get changed with ease.. or take a dog.. or film a lot inside during bad weather..hard to beat for £90 or less.............. weight is a negative but only 500g more than the cloud peak2
Hi Rooksfoot, OK cool, I'll have a read up on them mate. They sound very spacious and at only 500g more than the CP2 then that's also a bonus. Thank you mate and thank you for watching and commenting, Ant 👍
That's good to know buddy. Yeah not too bad here pal thank you. Oh wicked mate you might see Rick up there then, he's off to Mull too matey. Hope you have a wonderful time, I'd love to visit there.
Hi Lance, ahh cool, yeah I've heard they are very good those. Yes, I'm sure they will be back on sale soon buddy, just keep an eye out for it. Big thanks for watching and commenting pal. Cheers, Ant 👍
Hi Billy, thank you very much mate for having a watch. You know, I'd have got that and gave it the full monty test but it looks too similar to the cloud peak 2 I reckon, what you think?
Hi Ant been binge watching Ur Bobcat Vids...? Really good... I like the front flap cover, as it does provide some shelter from the rain if U just got the top quarter of door open to see outside or get some air & covers the front vent, plus i think that the door is one of the best features by having so many opening options & love the way it can can be propped up as a full canopy with walkpoles if the wind ain't too crazy...!👍 PS: "Sell Us ya Ebay Link" to those red plastic clips please, i can't find them anywhere...!🤔😄🙏
Hi Kev, ahh cool pal, glad your cutting through the vids. Yeah it's a massive plus point the multiple options you have on the door front isn't it. Yeah, here's the link pal www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263940319036?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=zPSkj3dmRM6&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
@@AntSurviveTheNight Ha ha Cushtie! These will make pitching so much easier, rather than having to keep hooking it together or them pinging off occasionally when moving about...✔️ I must have typed in 100 different clip descriptions, so I would never have guessed that they were football net clips...!🤯😄... Cheers bud, nice one...!👊
Hello Abe, OK thank you mate, I'll look into that one too as I'm wanting to do more Stealth camps so that would come in. Thanks a bunch for watching and commenting pal. Cheers, Ant 👍
There must be some variation in the manufacturing of the Bobcat, because I've got one, I'm 6ft 1" and I can lie down in mine with my feet about 2 -3 inches from the foot end and there is still a couple of inches headroom left !
Hi Chris, oh right well that’s bloody good then you have a good variant there. Most people I’ve spoken to have the small compacted size. Big thanks for taking the time to comment pal, Ant.
@@AntSurviveTheNight No, I've just got the size it says in the advert 200cm long inner. I'm 6ft 1 which is 185.42 cm. 200 - 185.43 = 14.75 cm which is roughly 5.5 inches. The other people claiming different are just idiots.
I've had it on the top of Dog Hill in four inches of snow with a temp of -6c and it was just fine - I'd say it's a four season. Another little tip for this tent is that you can use the little rings on the guys to hold the bundle together when storing. Slip the bundle into the ring and twist to tighten, job done! 👍🏼
Hi both of you, yeah that's the only test I've not managed to do. Good that it lasted the night through heavy snow then. Good stuff, another tip to add to the list. Cheers for watching and commenting guys! 👍
Hi mate, yeah but look good tents, hopefully come the autumn I can pick one of the options you guys have suggested and take that to its limits also. Cheers pal, Ant

Ahh damn sorry Martin but hey thats what good reviews are for mate aren't they. The last thing I want is for you or anyone else who watches my videos to purchase something and it not suit them
Hi Simon, thanks very much pal glad you liked it. I'll certainly have look at it pal, now that we are at the other side of winter it sounds like just the ticket. Cheers matey 👍
I love Malham Cove matey, it's stunning. It's my old fellas favourite. Dragged me up there last year and scrambled up the waterfall. Anyway, back to business, that bobcat is bloody brilliant. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it if same price as you paid as I would feel done otherwise now.not height issue in that for me then and great hack for the inner. I need Leon as my personal shopping. Where did he get that tarp for that much. Ledge. You have sold me that bobcat, I currently have vango tempest 200 recommend by ledge MCM outdoors which is a great tent. Great vid pal with brill photography. What budget stove and table do you recommend plus lighting device. My autolighter fails a lot on my screw on micro burner. Take care fella. Andy
Hi Andy, yeah it's a class place to visit, first time for us both. Glad you both have a lovely place to head to together, lots of memories made that way pal. Glad you like the Bobcat mate. We both reckon £75 max for it and it would fly off the shelves but keep a keen eye out Andy and you might just get that bargain pal. Haha yeah Leon is a beast when it comes to finding a bargain haha. The tarp he got was from a fishing website I believe matey. Yeah the Tempest is a solid tent too I'm told. Big thanks as always for watching the video and for your top comment bud 👍
The table I use is a Carp table off Amazon mate, just type that in and you'll find it. The stove is a OEX Novo, think I paid about £16 for it. I tend to just take a little fire striker with me and a lighter. Strikers work in the wet too so can't go wrong
Hi Vida, yeah definitely mate, I’ll be doing one as the winter months kick in again. It’s had a lot of wear by my son also these past months for his DofE so it’s well seasoned now
Hi Ian, thank you sir. Yes, you won’t be disappointed. Yeah it’s called the expedition tarp buddy. I wouldn’t needlessly say it’s just for the Bobcat but it is made by OEX yeah. Cheers matey, Ant 👍
Well it's definitely earned its place! I'm too tall for it though so won't be 1 for me unfortunately. Definitely a helm but I'd go for the 2 as its a good one spacious 1 man really. I go to go outdoors in Bury most Saturdays and I find their in store prices are far less than online so for tarps and bits it's worth a visit. Malham coves lovely, wife got her foot stuck more or less where you were at the end. I couldn't help as too busy laughing. like come on kids, mums staying here tonight! Loved the video. I'm staying in Yorkshire in May so hoping to get a solo on Malham then..
Morning Phil mate, hope your well pal. Yes, it's definitely in my hall of fame now. I have absolutely loved testing this tent mate. Yeah I believe the Helm is another tight fit for the taller person, I've seen the Helm 2 up at Sports Direct but not seen the 1 since before Christmas. Yeah I love popping in to go outdoors, always pick myself a gas canister up while there haha. Oh cracking mate yeah Yorkshire is a gold mine for camping. Haha hope she wasn't there too long pal. Great vid Ant. Oex tents are underrated. I’ve got two and they’ve stood up to some nasty weather. My latest purchase is the Helm 1 compact and it’s a mini fortress. Snug for 6ft2 but it’s my favourite tent at the min. Lundy’s Bushcraft just did a thorough video in it. Have a look. Defo worth £150ish.
Morning Mark, yes they definitely are aren't they. Which ones do you have mate? Yes, it's a tent I'd really like to test out is the Helm 1, looks smart too, a decent price tag to boot. All tents seem that way don't they for the taller person. Yeah I'd see on my feed that Jimmy had made a vid, I shall have a watch today mate. Big thanks for watching this video and for your comment pal 👍

Loved the video Ant, you have certainly tested that tent to the extreme. I have the OEX Rakoon 2.1, I think you should try that out. I think it`s a great tent, although I haven`t tested it as you test yours 😯 It is more spacious but a little heavier at 2.76kg as it has two poles ! I got mine in a sale, I think I paid £69 for it ! 😀😀 ps I`ll be taking it to the Bushcraft Show, my pal might be using it !
