some good owld bushcrafting going on there mate. Davey loves swinging that axe knackered just watching him.the chops wrapped in the crust reminds me of when I used to come in from school and wanted to get straight back out and would take me tea out.spot on cheers.
+thegeordiefellwalker Reminds me when I was about 16 and my mam sometimes used to cook a chop or chichen leg as she worked shifts and didn't have time for full dinners, I would butter some bread and make a big sarnie, I think it was her way of weaning me off the tit and getting me to make my own dinners lol.. thanks for watching, Damian.
Well done mate you and Davy have a great time in the woods just started to watch your videos past week have to say its got me in the mood forgot how much fun you can have been under the stars you have a real good pal with Davy you are truly blessed
Like the bow saw. The trouble with puting wing nuts on the ends though is they almost always manage to come undone, either by vibation or by brushing against undergrowth or the ground. Personally I've always used a home made cotter pin - a cut off bolt with hole drilled hrough it to take a short bit or wire or, ideally a split pin.
Thanks for the video, watching this while working. No days off for 3 weeks so this is as close as i'll get till then, thanks again for all your efforts
Hi, been watching your videos for a while. Really enjoy them. I wild camp myself. I would 100% recommend hammock camping though! I have the DD travel hammock and it is world class. Once you camp in a proper hammock you won't go back to conventional bivvie camping. I would love to watch a video of you giving it ago. Keep up the good videos. All the best.
A real cool vid bro, you and your friend are a laugh a minute. The wild man would scare the poo out of any night time visitors including ghosts, goblins and worst of all those nocturnal nosey parkers.
hilarious. Smoking cigarettes, drinking beer and chopping down trees. Safety first? "No, Mate. Beer first!" The language sounds vaguely familiar as if it were almost English. "I love tape, it has a thousand uses. I only wish I brought some" Ha ha. Nice vid. love it.
***** Ya, these guys are hilarious. This vid and others like it would make a good television program. These guys have rich personalities and it flows so well. Great vids.
Great camp and set up Damian Thought Davy was doing the tree felling dance at times ha ha ,1066 mate we became full English mongrels not been invaded since ...well not yet anyway ..Aldi.s doing the 4x3 tarp for 8 quid these days Crazy pair of blokes the 2 of yer enjoyed the vid All the best ....steve
+Frogmoon wildcamps and wanders Aldi also has a two pack of 3x2 tarps as well, bought all sizes when they had them in last time. I like to wait till they reduce the prices and get them even cheaper as I'm tight fisted lol.. ATB, Damian

hi Damien big fan like the vid what are the rules on cutting down trees I live in devon so it might be different but I just wanted to know because I found a good place to bug out but a dead standing tree is in the way so just wandering.
Hi I have been watching your vids and there great. I'm a keen wild camper I'm in the south of the uk which is not great for wild camping in respects that its not allowed in lots of areas I have heard that in the north you have more places to legally wild camp the woods you camp in regular are they local to you they look amazing can ya give me any advice on finding spots and gaining permission many thanks keep filming its great peace ✌
+jason caple Hi Jason, I would use google earth to locate places, use street view also to find spots to parkup etc and although wild camping is technically illegal, its often tollerated in some areas, just arive late, leave early and leave no mess. Coastal areas might be a good place to look as well. Damian.
+jason caple I've seen me camp on a public right of way, just wait till its getting dark and pitch up. I did that on my latest camp which I'm editing now and will upload soon.
Hey Damian, good video, looks like you all had a great time. Pretty scary woods though. What part of British Isles are you in? Keep filming. I love your videos.
Land's sake, where are your traipsing? All those upright dead trees. Time to thin them out as campfire fuel, heat reflector walls, Y stake hammock cot frames, etc etc., and allow the younger living trees to refill in the forest.
+Kiwi Bushcrafter I got mine from Aldi a couple of years back, bought a 4x3m for £4 and got a pack of two 3x2m reduced to £6, I'm still using them now but have small holes in them, nothing that a bit of duct tape cant handle
Yes Damian I can hear your mobile phone interference on the sound of your DV camera so you must be within mobile phone range - no problems for you as you can call your wife or she can keep a check on you - he he ! - I am not always so lucky when I go camping here in Aussie land , anyway I guess just about everywhere in UK ( my old country ) has phone coverage ! - best regards from Phil.
great video fellas, you guy looked like ya had a right laugh. do you know any good forest sites for wild camping in south of England and Wales. also check out the pocket chainsaws (basically a chainsaw chain with handles)
+Roy Tarquin Funny you should say that cause he's met Gazza while working in a hotel, says he was a laugh and very generous with the tips, a really genuine fella. Thanks for watching..
Thanks for the info Damien. I have been looking on google earth most helpful in off to Dartmoor in may for 3 days really looking forward to it. I'll be watching your vids many thanks 😊
Davey's hatchet or whatever it is, is pathetic. Cheap or not it wants throwing out. How the hell is he going to cut down the other 98 trees for the cabin. And if you find evidence of any strange goings on it will be useless too.
+Biting Mongeese - Geoffrey Bynoe Davey's hatchet is not pathetic and might not be sharp but looks great. He turned an inexpensive hatchet into a work of art, thanks for watching..
