Wild camping Scotland. A coastal camp on the Ayrshire coast and some more campfire cooking. Second night of a 2 day trip, burgers, lamb chops then custard and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Went for a look round the castle and harbour as well before setting off down the Ayrshire coastal path to our beachfront location. Brilliant Bugsey, nothing beats it, a good laugh as always, I'll never look at cold beans the same again, lol😂🤣😂. It was still pitch black when I left this morning, what time did you two head off from our spotless pitch?

Colin Russell Scottish wild camper we were packed up and heading back along the beach just after 10:00 I’d guess but we took the opportunity to try out the little cafe at the harbour for some breakfast which was lovely Colin. We left as they say only footprints behind at our camping spot but as supporters of rural beauty spots and of the Scottish communities more generally we like to leave cash behind with the local businesses in the areas we visit.

Have a little custard with your pudding? Yes please , swimming if you don’t mind 😉. Castle was great, weather was fantastic and the food was 1st class for a fall camp! I am partial for the black and fruit pudding so Stuart gets the vote today 🥇✅✔️

What a great feed, and that was after I forgot all my grub, Bugsey fed me well🍔🥩🥣👍. The weather was certainly better on the Friday at the coast than it was on the Thursday night on my solo hammock camp and hike in the Galloway forest. They film Outlander at Dunure castle sometimes as well. Stuart will be pleased he got a vote, lol😂. Thanks for watching, atb👍😎🏕👌

Canny looking Castle, what a great setting and stunning area. I love looking around the ruins of old castles but why on earth would people leave their rubbish being, in such a beautiful place. It was also disappointing not to see you and Stewart jumping off the top of that tower into the water mind.... Bad news on the scoff front as well, what you left sounded nice mind. What a pitch and what a sunset and that goodness for Buggsy and his fantastic burgers, absolutely amazing! Got to say, the lamb chops looked immense as well, although not a fan of black pudding or beans but I would have definitely been up for pudding! Shame you had to end off home early but that looked like a belter of a night mind. Great watch, cheers Alan

Cheers Alan, yeah a great area, weather was not too bad either, totally different from the night before which I'll upload later. Very disappointing that folk leave their rubbish, ruins it for others. Maybe next summer when its warmer we might jump in the water🤣, but a bit chilly getting at the moment. Couldn't believe I left my food, but Bugsey saved the day. Yeah and Stuart's beans were cold, we gave him a right ribbing, all in good jest. The pudding was very good, I must admit, thanks again to Bugsey. Yeah I was up at 5:45, to get down the road for the kids, but another great night, Stu and Bugsey are probably still there now, atb👍

Another amazing video! Cooking-wise, I am always on Team Stuart because his videos were those that got me into watching wild camping in Scotland....can`t cast my votes for anyone but. :) That being said, your photography is lovely...especially this batch. My favorite is the photo on the shore where the screen is split by the breakwater (don`t know if you call it that in Scotland). Great video!

Yeah, great night Will, certainly a lot dryer than the previous night when I was out solo down the Galloway forest.. Probably about 7 degrees, so nowhere near as hot as Rhodes, but at least there was no rain or wind. How you getting on with your channel?

Went to Aberfoyle the three loch drive it's off season so no permit needed it was bliss 👍cheers

Sounds great, been round that drive a couple of times, but never camped there before, saw a few great camp spots when I was there. Will need to get a camp there at some point 👍😎👌🏕

Really nice video mate. I enjoyed the photos you got at the end of the video, especially the photos with the stars. I've camped on the coast once at Tyninghame, but the Ayrshire coast is on the list for next summer now.

Yeah Jimmy, couldn't believe I left my food in the house, luckily Bugsey had extra or I'd have been eating noodles and a ration pack, lol. A stunning location to spend the night, all the best👍

Yeah, the pudding was immense, he gets my vote as well for that one. I don't mind cold baked beans either but we were just having a laugh with Stu that they should have been heated up with his other hot food, he caved in to peer pressure with his second batch, lol🤣. Thanks for watching, atb👍🏕😎👌

@@nifflofair6685 , theres loads of castles on the a Ayrshire coast within a few miles, Greenan castle is just a few miles down the coast at Ayr, but Culzean castle is the jewel in the crown👍

@@Colinrussellscottishwildcamper visiting castles was my spare time hobby for six years mostly Argyll and the Highlands, Did visit Castle Douglas and Dundonald , had a really spooky experience there ( caught on camera) before I knew about it's history. Visit Ardrossan, Saltcoats a lot and the old ruin up off Hill Street, I think it is.
