this kid austin paris a 2 time state champ as a sophomore had that happen to him this season over in moab utah i was there when it happened and the kid who hit him with a knee to the face got disqualified from the tournament
I love Bo's class and professionalism. Dont ever retaliate. Show everyone you follow the rules and you wont stoop so low. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind!

The kid in the grey is Bo Bassett, One of the greatest/Most popular wrestlers in today’s world. So that’s even worse considering the other kid did that to an iconic wrestler is crazy

@@adamwheeler8101I think it was a few seconds before the match was ending an Bo was up in points, so that was why there was a wild flurry and some baby emotions from Lilledahl. Ofc I could be wrong but nobody in the crowd seemed to really notice it.
@@deviouspenius5720no the match was over, you can hear them counting down and the ref at the table was holding the white paddle to show time was up. Looked like end of match desperation that turned into frustration and a wild knee.

I watch MMA so much I didn't even realize he did anything illegal. Would have been mad if he had that position and collar tie and DIDN'T throw a beautiful knee up the middle 😏
I mean the clock's running out but if you see that as an official I'm automatically disqualifying for flagrant misconduct. That's not a penalty point that's a DQ. Prevent the situation from further escalating are involving coaches parents and that awkward handshake.
I know everyone is complimenting Bo for the sportsmanship as they should. I just think to myself that people act the way like the kid in blue did because they don’t face consequences for their actions. Sometimes fighting back and defending yourself is a valid reason. Just my respectful opinion.
One of my teammates got elbowed hard in a match so he straight up decked the dude and got our entire team disqualified from the dual tournament that we were hosting. Gotta keep those emotions in check. Dude in the red did well!
As a coach we don't need parents in the background encouraging violence going that's right baby.... Like yeah we know he won wait three more seconds and then you can say whatever you want you can share mine but you can see that any little inkling of a problem is going to set a fire that kid is spewing gasoline figuratively speaking I'm sure it's frustrating if you're able beautiful 6 minutes with full Bassett
It’d be funny that if that just completely ruined Penn States chances of getting Bo and then Bo commits to Iowa and stops Luke from ever winning an NCAA title.
This happens to me but it wasn’t there knee the guy head butted me and I think it hurt him more than it hurt me bc I had to beat him and then beat the next guy to go to states and I beat the guy who head butted me and then beat the next guy so honestly if they do something like that on purpose just bc ur losing it should be like a automatic disqualification
Stalling and sandbagging are two different things. If you’ve done the work to get the lead, you’ve earned the right to be defensive in the final 10 seconds of a match.
