Back in the early 2000's I used this oil years before it was popular and available all over. And it worked so good back then. I brought it a few years later and they changed the ingredients and it did not work and also it irritated my skin. when companies get popular they downsize the ingredients and use the cheaper ingredients. this happens with just about eveything we buy that becomes popular. I notice it with food, lotions, deodorants and etc. People read your labels!
Sis it's the same oil. Trust me! I sold the oil for 4 years and they were required to explain what nutrient complex was thats why the new bottle list every ingredient.
Hello! I’m sorry I saw this comment late. As someone who has sold this old, what conclusion have drawn from all the individuals who are having different results than before? Or for those who have complaints of hair loss? Is there any insight you can provide?
I started using this product in 2012 when I decided to go natural for the first time and it did wonders for my hair! (Shine, growth, moisture). But in 2017 my scalp and hairline started to breakout with painful pumps so I had to stop using it. Just recently I've gone back to the OLD SCHOOL BASICS my mother used on my hair. WATER & GREASE!! The best decision I've ever made for my hair. ♥️ Ladies, if this oil works for you then cool, if it doesn't, don't be discouraged just get you a jar of BLUE MAGIC hair grease and you'll be alright!
So I originally started using the yellow bottle years ago on my daughter's hair. As with shea moisture, I noticed a difference right off. Skyview RU-vidrs doing the differences SheaMoisture and then I see your video about the wild Growth Oil. A few years ago I got into making my own bushes and stuff and said what the hell I'll make my own hero and design it for my scalp and my daughter's. What we've been using it makes them has been working fine with us, I still love my shea moisture but learning shampoo next. Thank you so much for this information appreciate you💙💙💙💙 and for the record if you really aren't eating right or watching what and how you put stuff in your body nothing is going to be right. me too my ingredients are; Oils of Coconut, Olive Oil, Jojoba, Rice Bran, Cocoa [Butter], Acerola, Pomegranate, Rosehip, and Pumpkin Seed. Extracts of Mushroom, Chick Pea, Lentil, Cocoa Mass and Sesame seed. Essential oils of Clary, Sage, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Geranium, Grapefruit, Lavender and Peppermint. This is my first time buying this product and I got it from my local beauty supply. Wtf is going on?!?!
They had to repackage and throughly explain what’s in the bottle . The original would just say “ nutrient complex “ but regulations wanted them to explain What’s in the complex? . All those ingredients were in there before . They just had to better explain the labeling or get removed from shelves
Thank you!! There is no fake. They already explained that the "other ingredients" had to be indicated on the new bottles! So the source of choline is now chick peas, iron is cocoa mass etc... Please get educated correctly people!

Said the same thing on another channel and people tried to go back and forth. Reading is fundamental, but Comprehension is KEY

Its work for me, I followed the instructions on the bottle. I put some of the white bottle in my castroil. I also use it on its own. I don't mixed it with meny different oils and greese. I keep it simple.
When i first saw it was in the black magazine it was not in stores so i ordered from the company after that the stores started carrying it & this was in the 90's so when i need it i will oder from the company.
Yes, you are right. The hair and cosmetic industry continues to modify and even discontinues products that work for us. The research shows x y z, the information in part is to under mind our self esteem.
You hit the hammer on the nail when you said if we have low iron our hair may fall out due to our blood not circulating. That is so true. I try to go natural while trying to medicate myself due to the unsafe vitamins I eat lots of vegetables and get my iron up naturally. Before I stopped taking vitamins I used to take biotin vitamins and those grew my hair along with eating right and washing my hair monthly and moisturizing every 2 weeks.... great video! @@kimorahlondon7070 I have, I tried with the powder form first and omg damn, that was awful. I then put them in pill form and it works wonderfully, sea moss in gel form I use in my smoothies.
I agree with you I keep old tube bottles and make more natural oils too and thank you the only person who read both ingredients... The company should of kept bottles and let the consumer decide.
No wonder why at my local beauty supply they on sale buy one get one free… I feel like it’s always something wrong with food an hair products that’s on sale what’s the reason for the sale…🤦🏾♀️
This is why I don’t go to Bath and Body Works as often as I used to because they kept discontinuing products that I liked. Sometimes I would feel like I was settling for something else. I still have the old Wild Growth oil bottle too. There is a wide empty space between iron and magnesium so I don’t know if it is a typo or what but I agree with your comments. If it ain’t broke why fix it? Smh
Just use a oil you like, wash and condition once a WK, protective style, and find some other ish to do besides worrying about your hair. In a year, you'll see your hair has grown and there is no such thing as a miracle growth all. Your consistency was the "miracle/secret" to grow ya hair 🤫

Thank you so so much for the video because the middle of my head is getting thin and the first one you read off I have the same bottle and I never use wild growth I usually use Glover's name and I know as I been mixing myself together as well the wild world have not been growing I have my house falling out too so you're telling the truth now I'm going to go really look for the real bottle and you're like I said telling the truth thank you I mean thank you thank you so much cuz when I used it my hair was really falling out more thank you and I love for my hair to be long and it's long but I wanted to be much longer I mean thank you so much

My understanding is tht the formulas are the same but the newer bottle required a more complete list of ingredients. They had to put more ingredients of their ‘proprietary blend’ on the label.
Man I wish I watched this video before I paid and wasted $10 on a fake wild growth product that’ll just break off and destroy my hair 😒 thanks for this video, it was really helpful to know all of this. God bless you!!
I've used both and they both work for me. But I also massage my scalp daily for 25-30 minutes, I use it 3 times a week, which is every other day, I wash my hair every 2 weeks unless if I get really sweaty and I stay hydrated. Take vitamins. Every 6 months I go in and get blood work done to see how my diet and nutrition is working and to see if I need to cut back on certain things, add or keep it the same. Keep stress in check, exercise and hydrate. Keep your hair and scalp oiled and moisturized.
Why don’t you do a side by side trial of the two products and document it for a few weeks? Ill be upset if the new one is bad but you’re not even sure if its what caused your to hair fall off.. like you mentioned having anemia so idk what to believe
Ok i have a question about this product bc my hair was damaged and it just broke off all the way in the middle then i stared using the product and it grew back but dose it make ur hair a different texture bc i have curly hair and the spot that grew back looks kinda straight
Yeah when this product first came out it worked like magic. Ever since they changed the ingredients I had noticed I wasn’t even getting results anymore. Smh
This video is misleading because the ingredients on the new bottle have always been there, they just didn’t specify all of them on the old bottle and put them under umbrella terms
I’ve addressed this in an update video. Yes the company had to list the exact ingredients but they also posted on their site that fake bottles were being sold. The exposed video was warranted. A lot of people had no idea. They have also informed us of the differences between the bottles to help future supporters shop smart.
People have been using the Wild Growth products incorrectly the back says use it ONCE A WEEK then "OBSERVE RESULTS DAILY" gradually increase frequency from "ONCE A WEEK" to "THREE TIMES PER WEEK" over the course of "ONE MONTH" Key word "OBSERVE" so if your hair is growing then you don't need to use it more than "ONCE A WEEK" if your hair isn't growing then use it "THREE TIMES A WEEK" Overall, I believe the ingredients in Wild Growth are VERY STRONG you don't need to OVER USE it or your hair will FALLOUT ! You use it as directed your HAIR WILL GROW! Reading is comprehension and certain people have been using this product everyday which is incorrect and seeing negative results blaming the ingredients? Foolish! simply follow the directions on ALL products !!!
I tried WG a few years ago and the ingredients sound like the ones from the first bottle you mentioned (the "new" version). I got it from Amazon and it made my hair so fucken dry no matter how much I moisturized it. My hair began to mat up and fall out and my scalp was extremely itchy and started to blister up and I only used the shit twice. I did a patch test on my hand 24 hrs prior to using WG on my head and nothing (so it's not an allergy). It took me two months to (I DO NOT and NEVER HAVE have issues such as alopecia or my hair just not growing, etc). I just wanted to try it to see what it would do for me. My advice if you still want to try it, get it from the manufacturer! Good luck!
I had the same problem. When I first used it a few years ago, it grew my hair out beautifully. I ran out of it, so I purchased a new bottle from my local beauty store & my hair fell out & my scalp itched tremendously. I read somewhere that some local beauty stores are manufacturing and selling fake bottles.
Yeah I’m sorry you experienced that but I would never buy it off of Amazon. You’d be surprised how much fakes are floating on Amazon. I’d get it from a trusted beauty supply or straight from the manufacturer like you stated.
I’m anemic as well yes iron is very important for us but I just started using the oil yesterday from what I know it’s the real bottle I’m hoping this helps my hair growth
@@CozyFaith THIS WAS ME!!! until i found CARBONYL IRON. i literally needed to go to the ER because of anemia bc my stomach couldnt handle the other types of iron.(e.g. ferrous sulfate and ferrous fumarate)

I know I’m extremely late. For the some reason the older the videos the least likely I will be notified when someone comments . I have chosen to not attempt to use this product any more or buy any new bottles. I am at peace with my decision. I pray you have made a good decision for you too 😊
I just checked the three bottles I have. the newer ones are different maybe that's why my scalp is reacting. with the original bottle my hair grew like crazy and was so thick. Now it thinning out i think something in it doesn't agree with me. Thanks for the catch I will stop using and make my own.
deedix84 the same thing happened to me the newer version has something in it that just did not agree with my scalp, my scalp was on fire. I literally stopped using it altogether. Whomever owns the company now is selling counterfeit goods! The old one years ago smelt minty and herby, you knew it was working because your scalp itched like a mofo.
I’ve heard a lot of negative things about wild growth oil that’s why I’ve used it once ... saying something to what you’re saying . But I heard the ingredients were changed or added .
I just went on the website and there actually is a fake being sold, they've found some of the places that are selling it. If u have a triangle on the bottom of your bottle it's fake, if not your good.
Look up oils that do promote hair growth, and mix your own. You can apply this using a derma roller on the scalp. Derma rolling creates small channels for the oil to penetrate even deeper. Trust me, a derma roller at .5 will not hurt, as the scalp is tougher than facial skin. Put on a plastic cap, something that will not be absorbed into your pillow case, and wash off the next day.

The old version always did the job for me and I've been using it since it first came out. But I got a new bottle and it was making my hair different and shedding too much. That's when I noticeda weird ingredients on a brand new bottle and went back to that same beauty supply and said this is not real and it's being made in Scottsdale Az? I said if you don't want any problems I suggest you stop selling this one with mushrooms and chickpeas and showed her the old bottle. She stopped selling it. I always get the original version for $10 or less. This new mushroom version was being sold for $14 in some places. Ridiculous. Check the product ingredients.
I used this oil recently and my hair was falling out. I brushed my hair after applying this oil and small chunks of my hair was on the brush. I’m tight because I shouldn’t have used anything other than castor oil for hair growth.
My bottle states totally different. Yes, we live in a sad world. They will spend more money to "research" what is already known just to make a dollar. I'm studying cycles and systems now.

Melissa Williams I’ve used the white bottle a few times and haven’t had any problems. I have used it consistently so I’m not sure how good it works for hair growth.
Some white company took over if I’m correct. Either they cut back on the original ingredients to save cost or somebody doesn’t want black women to have beautiful long healthy hair. I don’t put nothing pass anyone.
I believe it too, someone doesn’t want black women to have long beautiful hair. Whoever took over the company had a motive behind it. It’s definitely not the same from back in 2011 I know.
They have changed their ingredients so many times-- mushrooms, lentils, FOOD ingredients when it use to have actual potent oils and growing agents. I HATE the formula now. Even the "mild" yellow version has changed. I just mix my own now.
I just got the new one and I used it for the second time and i felt this burning sensation on my scalp...it felt like I had relaxer on my scalp I wont use it again...cos that's kinda scary

Yes a lot of people said it did the opposite for them. The only thing I could think of was the fact it had a lot of DHT blocking ingredients. Those ingredients are suppose to prevent the abundance of hair lost hormones but if a person is pretty balanced in diet it may have the opposite effects
Mines too!!! Be warned, It took me months to get rid of the chemical burns that bs gave me. It’s still some tender spots in my scalp after almost a year later. So good luck with that!
Their should be a lawsuit against WHG oil because this 💩 now is TRASH. I used this stuff about 6 years ago and it smelt very herby and grew my hair like CRAZY. My scalp used to itch like mad, tried it last year and was like NEVER AGAIN. I now just stick to peppermint and castor oil. These companies do not BW to have long, healthy hair as its putting a dent in their pockets. I say we all start making our own hair products and sack them off completely.
Its just naming all the ingredients that’s in the hair growth ingredient that’s labeled in the old bottle.. the old bottle had a secret ingredient that’s named in the new bottle
