Very conservative warning. Everything below 120 is a complete non-issue on modern oils. Even 130 isn't critical yet imo.

To be fair don't think they intended to - Misha kind of closed down the space behind the Corsa and then the Corsa slowed down quite a bit. Corsa should have moved over to the right earlier and let the Subaru go really.

Corsa clearly started indicating and moving over to the right to let both pass, clearly lifted based on how the subbie blew by him, but decided otherwise when he saw the subbie gunning for the right overtake. At that point if the subaru just lifted or braked slightly and let Misha passed everything would've been fine. Regardless it is blatantly obvious the subaru was going for that overtake from the get go. Probably frustrated he was going to get passed by a Honda, blaming the Corsa for holding him up. If he braked HARD, everything would've been fine. It is ILLEGAL to pass on the right. There was 0 safety excuse.

Misha came out the corner faster than both and closed the space down the Subaru might have used on the left before they got to use it, the Corsa indicated once and lifted, didn't leave the Subaru many options, they could have braked hard but with Misha angling in like that going faster than both I can't blame the driver being leery of slowing down. Corsa really should have moved over before the corner and let both go. I don't see the Subaru clearly going for the pass on the right until after Misha has put the pressure on.

Hiya mate car has low temp thermostats for the cooling system and oil! Coolant opens around the 76 mark and thermostat on oil is 80c. I've got a few ideas to help sort the overheating

DC5 is the last cable throttle high revving Honda. If you like Throttle response, those cars are a blast to drive. New cars have gotten better, but nothing beats an NA K20 with a cable throttle body. Rev matching downshifts is so crisp, and the engine is soooo fun to rev out.

I was wondering if perhaps the tires were a shorter diameter than stock causing the speedo to be a bit off. Still fast enough to push that M2 out of the way!

@@Grimace427 stock setup over-reads by about 5-6%. Assuming he's running 265/35R18 instead of 245/30R20 that's another 2%. So perhaps 150mph (241kmh) and 142mph (229kmh) respectively. Still quick.

@@tmmtmm i have the same wheel setup 265/35/18 and my speedo only reads typically 2-4mph over depending on how fast i am going. I have went 164mph and my police radar and hondata app read 161mph so it wouldnt be too far off.

That was right around when Misha encountered that whole bunch of idiots. It's hard to understand these drivers who see a car behind them that they haven't seen all race and can't put 2+2 together and get the hell out of the way of the obviously faster vehicle! It doesn't really bother me.

RS6 is portly though, and TTRS isn't exactly lightweight. Plus you get to hear that amazing 5. And if you have a manual it's just as fun as the CTR.

@mediocreman2 I appreciate that. There is about 100kg (give or take) difference between the TTRS and Civic. Nevertheless, for a front wheel drive car giving away about 90bhp is pretty impressive. But I'll stick to my Audi lol

In the best German Magazin Sport Auto the Megane 4RS Trophy was faster in Comparison test in the corners as the Type R. Time Hockenheim GP Track: Type R 02:02,8min 4RS Trophy 02:00,7min So 2 seconds faster.

Yes, a Mégane with no back seats, roll cage, semi slick tyres, no AC, etc... Pretty much a cheat. Still just 2 seconds... Anyway, the Limited edition fk8 is Faster and still has back seats.

I think it’s just the combo of RHD + close gear ratios requiring a lot of shifting throughout the lap. I’ve noticed Misha tends to struggle a bit more shifting RHD cars.

@@Ben-bg2eg it is most assuredly more difficult to drive a RHD car and shift with your left hand when you learned how to drive on LHD and shift with the right. I am 62yo and sold the last AT vehicle I owned in 1983 and I'm very focused on my shifting when driving an RHD vehicle. I have almost ejected myself on a couple occasions by trying to shift the door lever by accident....lol when not paying close enough attention to the task at hand.

Aftermarket shifters rarely improve on the feel and action of oem Honda Better to leave it stock imo

Probably out by a few % but probably still quite close. Stock car comes with 20" wheels and 245 tyres while this is on 18s with 265s.
