Since 2003, Lori Trojan has grown Wild Ivy Herb Farm into more than a business: it’s a way to support the local community and other farmers. A staple at the Lawrence Farmers Market, Trojan focuses on using sustainable permaculture practices to cultivate about 75 varieties of culinary, medical, and native herbs across 3 acres in south Lawrence.
Wild Ivy offers a full line of products, including herb-infused soap, tea, vinegars, and more, as well as interactive group workshops on the farm. With a full schedule of workshops in the months ahead, Trojan is celebrating her latest milestone: building a new outdoor hoop house space to host them.
