ive seen a lot of streamer videos on youtube but ive noticed only 2 anglers know how to work the lure right with strip and workin the rod tip, excellent, greetings from the north
Great vid. always wanted to try streamers with a fly rod. what equipment are you using? line, rod, streamer etc. big fan from antrim. we need more people on youtube showing off are great country.
Good man George, cracking fishing as usual. Always found a size 6 Muddler was a great bet in high water. Fair play for picking up the rubbish, not many would do it.
Great fishing George, adapting to the high and fast water conditions of the day...looks enjoyable too !...bet you sleep well after all that casting...looking forward to seeing your new killer Mayfly streamer pattern soon as that season approaches :) all the best, say hello to Rua, and well done for cleaning up after the 'fly' tippers
I carry a telescopic net that extends to good length…but is reasonably short when retracted, you may find such quite useful in these circumstances! Enjoyed your video…would be nice to see you tie that fly? Carry on! 👍👍
Well done man ! I was chatting with a guy who fishes loughs on wet flies and asked him about streamer fishing. He told me it was an ok technique in Ireland but wets were more effective. Well, I suppose your video proves him wrong even though I reckon you fish in rivers and not loughs. I’d be glad to have your thoughts on that Thank you for sharing
Great video as always George, just a quick question, what weight rod do you use and is it a sinking line that you use? Is it a jigging motion that's required or a fast retrieve? Thanks👍
