This week we celebrate where we've been and how far we've come with a family trip and an epic Christmas surprise for a family member. Every year, for the past 4 years, we have filmed a very special WWOG Christmas- here's our 2022 version!

We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. After living near the city our entire lives we finally decided to sell it all, pack up our 3 kids and live in an RV on our 73 acres while building our own debt free, off-grid house and learning to live a more self-reliant life.

I've only gone snow skiing once, but one of the best decisions I've ever made was to take a 1/2 day skiing lesson FIRST. I picked up enough skill in that short lesson to have a terrific rest of the day skiing, without falling....well, maybe ONCE.

We did the same thing when our kids were about the same age as your youngest. We even surprised them on Christmas morning after opening gifts. We said "pack your bags, we're going to CA" We drove 16 hrs from Colorado to California. It was so great to see nana's reaction. Way to go!

There's nothing better than spending time with the people that you love during the holidays. I've been doing blankets and pajamas for several years with my kids now. For the first episode I watched, before the forms for the foundation went in, I watched because the thumbnail of Erin was pleasing to the eye. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that y'all actually had content.
