These guys are real friends, I've been watching them for a decade, it's sad to see Moo go, but he has so much support from his friends,, we will miss him
Well if anything, he isn't like gone gone Hence the keywords in his title was RU-vid Full Time So we will see him abit here and there if he feels like it or there is time He will basically ghost in and out similar to Lui. Throughout we never seen Lui in vids but he does play with them. Moo will be the same as well
@@J0SEF Been watching him since he was beardless and in a dorm lol he deserves to flex. He's been at it forever and is morally one of the best youtubers around.
@@mobyhuge4346 well the episode they did make was only on the money they made and since they didn’t get any companies to help them do what they wanted to do they canceled it
@@brixson7641 it hasnt been cancelled. Marcel has confirmed there has been meetings to plan more for it and to create more episodes. Its just the strikes made it take longer to get around to but there still is more coming and the offical Alpha Betas accs on soial medias have hinted at more coming after all the episodes and shorts aired. Scotty even mentioned that the crew asked him if he wanted to do a cameo on upcoming episodes.
This is the writing on the wall. Anyone who has spent the past 5 years watching youtube knew a mass exodus of creators would come. The ad crap, the censorship, information gatekeeping.
I knew something was coming about 4 or 5 years ago when one creator I watched started getting demonitized on his videos of true crime, horror, and other dark matters
On the topic of PewDiePie retiring. He did the craziest thing. He managed to become so successful on RU-vid, so good, that he was able to use it as a full time job and retire from it in his 30s. Bro is set for life and to me it’s wild. The idea he played video games for a living before it was seen as a possibility and retired from it and now lives a happy life in Japan with his wife and kid is just- WOW
You have to be crazy successful to simply just retire Vanoss among them is the closest to such a thing being stable And he has alot of side stuff The rest of the group also can kind of leave, RU-vid just a hobby posting at best. They all got their little business stuff around on the side as well
i'd make best of it because with the new gen of youtubers i can guarentee by 2030s to 2040 if all the homies are gone then we will be soo bored with youtube its kinda sad thinking about it really@@Vonmoonlight
that would be awesome tbh it would be like the doctor who regeneration thing one guy leaves another takes the spot but have the same personality@@TheGamingHellhound
RU-vid really isn't the same back then. Back then you could post amazing and entertaining videos you can simply enjoy both creator and viewer. Now it's just having to follow rules that even RU-vid themselves have muddied up for themselves for whatever reason and to get with the trends even if it is stupid. I get RU-vid is trying to be advertiser-friendly but cmon RU-vid you need to keep yourself in check.
It's also the fact that RU-vid is basically becoming a waste processing site that recycles trash from TikTok and Instagram reels. Also there are too many kids, I might sound like a bitter old man but that's how I see it. It's especially visible in the comments.
yeah but without the changes over the years these beloved creators wouldn’t be here now if it wasn’t for business purposes as well. they’re able to do this stuff for as long as they could because they’re able to live off it.
everyone likes to say "do what you love and the money will follow" but what they don't tell you is when you turn a hobby into a job it becomes a job and no matter how much you like your hobby, a job is still a job and it starts to feel like a chore.
I am just glad THIS IS WHAT HE WANTS to do. Not that something bad happened and that's why he's leaving ... Brock and his family seem ok and that's the thing I care about.
I agree at least we're not losing him because he turned into another mini. Brock will forever be an infinitely bigger man and 100% his interest is his family, not himself.
Grow but not really great in the sense that it wasn't as benefitting like last time as a creator and the limitations are wild now And with the AI doing all the restriction etc, you have no choice but to play so safe even during recording. It's stressful when you know you are actively recording. I been in my friend Twitch stream and man, it was suffocating to play when he does so, cux of the whole regulations of some things can't be said, it really spoils the mood of the entire process Like the same with recording for RU-vid vid
@@Vonmoonlight it may be tuff and I don’t like this whole ai stuff but all ik is I wanna be a successful RU-vidr I’m careful with what I say I just want to make people happy
3:20 Before Miniladd became Pablo, I remember seeing a video him saying how if you got demonetized/restricted once, but then you could make the most child/advertizer friendly video ever and RU-vid would still considered you in that group of people who constantly swear and such or something like that and still leave you more prone to restrictions or whatever, maybe it changed since then, idk
I’ve watched these guys since I was in middle school, I grew up watching there videos and laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe sometimes, it honestly sucks to see moo go but his mental/ physical health and family are more important for him right now and as much as I hate to not see him in videos I hope him leaving helps him and truly makes him feel good again, he’s an awesome person and i wish nothing but good things for him to come
I love the dynamic you guys have. That whole group minus the certain people we know. You guys are all brothers. A single family. From an outsider’s POV seeing how you guys interacted with Moo’s kids and I think I’ve heard you interact with Delirious’s, one would think you’re long distance uncles to them. It’s amazing
Been watching you guys for years and you have gotten me and millions of others through some of our darkest times, I hope none of you ever fully give up youtube, but as we age I know priorities change and yes I agree the internet is changing and not for the better but there is still a lot of good.... God I did'nt want this day to come to see so many legends either leave or take a step back but you all deserve to have happy non-toxic lives and to be in good health both physically and mentally. Wildcat, Vanoss crew, Smi77y and literally ALL of you guys have made life so much more bearable and provide so much laughter that really cures so many things in the rest of us, even if its just for a little while. Keep going at it guys, your true fans will never leave and we will watch whatever you come out with... We all love you and we all want you to be happy and successful Much Love Guys!
I've been watching his old videos and he genuinely seemed happier back in the day, he's such a nice guy and I think his fan base will still be around to watch whatever he puts out and it's great to know we still have his old videos to watch
You can look back at all the youtubers we grew up with say the same thing. They were full of life and energy and it was awesome seeing them find their footing and trying out new things while also still having fun. Even getting those random gem videos where they met at 2014 pax east. Seeing them as basically kids yet full of hype seeing each other. Now they all just look tired. Tired of the bullshit. Tired of RU-vid. Fullt aware that their prime days have past and the next generation is stepping up. Even though in their videos these days they just complain about RU-vid and walking around egg shells to make sure not to say anything that could effect their career. They're restraint, tired and done.
@@yahjah3795 it's sad that things are the way they are, honestly growing up watching these guys has been amazing, they've helped so many through so much.
I haven’t even watched moos video yet bc Ik as soon as I do I’m gonna start crying I’ll always cherish him for being part of my childhood and I wish him the best but damn
i gooe moo dropes a best of all time video so many moments over all the years that were amazing everyone will miss him and definitely notice his disapearance 😢
I hope people know that Moo isn’t gone forever. It’s just every so often he’ll post, he’ll be mostly focused on the real life job as well as his family. RU-vidrs aren’t , they are human. They need to be with their family as well as be out there with themselves.
You can’t pressure guys for being worn out. RU-vid is a very different and difficult job. I wish all the people who are quitting or cutting back the best in the next chapter of their lives. Remember you can still watch all the old videos of every channel that’s what makes RU-vid great.
It sucks that moo whos part of the group who was the biggest part of my childhood deciding to take a step back. It sucks but its what hes got to do and we support him. ❤
I really hope you can still make videos. Just know that you guys were my favorite. RU-vid was growing up when I was a kid. And no matter what you guys will always be my favorite youtubers.
Man it is a thing that I realizes a long time ago that eventually my favourite content creators will eventually retire. Now is a start and im still happy for em especially Brock
Damn. I’ve been watching PewDiePie since high school, MatPat senior year & the Vanoss crew since 2014 right after I graduated. Crazy to see everyone growing up alongside with me… So long, partner.
I still watch their videos but it's amazing how long I have been watching these guys but I know it wouldn't last forever we all knew this it's only a matter of time before they all bail and I wouldn't be sad I'll just be happy I had it growing up
After watching yall make content for more than a decade is sad to see someone leave. Much love to Brock and his family. Brock is taking a bigger step in life and I'm glad he is. I hope the best for Brock and his family it was fun while it lasted and I hope he comes back to make content once a while.
It's weird, moo was never my favorite out of the group but then for some reason he became one of favorites out of them. I'll miss his content but I wish him and his family all the best
I disagree with WildCat on the demonetization/age restriction thing. More and more creators are being forced to censor themselves and their hard work because of how unclear the rules are, and sometimes still follow the rules and still get hit with the hammer. And you'll get hit with it for older videos from 5, 10, 15 years ago, without warning. And when you try to figure out what your video did wrong, even if it doesn't break any obvious rules, you'll be lucky to get any support or even talk to a real human from RU-vid. And even if you do, they might say your videos fine, then the sysem will demonetize or age restrict your video anyway. And let's not even get into the forced censorship of history channels who dare talk about WW2 and how bad Nazi's are, because just saying the word Nazi gets your demonetized/age restricted. Something at RU-vid needs to change if new creators are going to come and stay, or if anyone wants to make videos without already being filthy rich to start. I respect and understand Brock's decision to step away, and I hope his new ventures go well.
This is a problem that applies beyond just RU-vid. The fact you can’t have serious discussion on things like mental health or history online is a huge problem
More and more "creators" aren't really doing anything but uploading other people's videos, either in part or in their entirety, and trying to claim it as their own. They not only should be demonetized, they should be permabanned from RU-vid. These folks aren't even trying to do anything unique. I have zero sympathy for them, and as Wildcat said, if they don't change, they're just dumb.
@@shawnheidingsfelder8179 If you're talking about SSSniperWolf and people like her, I agree, they're part of the problem. I'm talking about the creators who actually put hard work and effort into their videos and get shafted by RU-vid cause "Lol fake blood, you cursed once, you mentioned something we don't like despite it being educational, so we're going to screw you over"
i just hope all the old videos will still be around, as much as youtube is a literal cease pit those are roughly the only thing keeping viewers around, those are the only thing good left.
See, this is how I wished it went w Mini. And obv, we couldn't get that happy ending. But w Moo, this is what I like, seeing his farewell video and also seeing his friends talk good abt him and supporting him n welcoming him back w open arms whenever he finds time. Jus makes me real happy how close these group of friends are and how far they've come
As much as it sucks that are favorite RU-vidrs are leaving it’s the way of the world the new gen is coming and it’s time to make way it’s sucks but it is what it is
honestly bro to be real the way RU-vid is being run is being extremely affected by this current economy we are in, so everyone is getting wayy less money than the were 4 years ago.... it affects everyone's day to day mood and now since there's less money coming in, people/friends are going around looking for a new job/lifestyle to fit their life. I've been a subscriber to the crew members from the beginning, and I'll continue to support you guys no matter what action you take... (as long is it doesn't involve anything such a Ladd)
It's a shame these wonderful people do end up moving on and stop making content. At the same time, the plus side would be smaller creators who are younger and newer get a chance to grow more.
I never thought i’d stop watching RU-vid and to an extent i don’t think i’ll ever stop using it but, i do think im gonna start just not really watching videos unless i need to. Nowadays i just scroll on here because im bored and im looking for something to watch as opposed to actually watching my subscribed channels. The RU-vid i grew up with is long gone and the people that were apart of it are starting to leave. I think it’s time i moved on as well.
Hard watching all my childhood heros growing up, having kids and losing interest in this type of stuff kinda hurts. Oh yeah, I'm also old and have 2 amazing twin daughters now. Life moves too fast but it's beautiful.
Another RU-vidr in the Vanoss crew that announcing emself to properly stepping down from the stage of RU-vid itself rather than the others that just throw their whole reputation away, mad respect from Moo Snuckle
As someone that suffer from depression a d anxiety . Im amazed to heard that Brock was having those and still was able to do ALL he as do . He really stronger than he thought , much respect for him .
I agree with this besides the guidelines things. Bc i still find the content creator is a form of art? And guidelines means suppressing art. Plain as could be.
I can see why it isn’t the same anymore. Everyone made it to where they are in some way or another and I’m there own way which might have taken varied amount of time and variety amount of success. Now there is more of a formula to RU-vid success that feels more bland compared to how it was. RU-vid is changing and so is the landscape. People come to RU-vid knowing they want success and not for fun anymore at least not like before
Growing up watching sark first and then these guys made me want to become a RU-vidr myself. I don’t make the greatest content but i make it for my own enjoyment and fun if someone wants to cringe along with me then by all means. I also realize that I wouldn’t want to do this full time I’d rather do it as a side gig, I work an 8-12 hour shift doing industrial mechanical services in NYC, not the most glamorous job but it pays okay. RU-vid to me is unreliable for monetizing, I have no filter I call it like I see it, I think honesty is better than a sugar coated watered down lie. Thank god for patreon though
first off .. .Brock should do whats best for him and his family ... I know he has to be nervous about this ( "is this the right thing to do?") but i feel if this has been on his mind for months its something he at LEAST has to try. It's what's best for him and his family. I am HOPING Tyler is right about "he's not gone forever ... he will hopefully be around every once in awhile" (even if not doing videos .. just say chatting with the guys on discord from time to time, during a video) I am wishing Brock and his family the best ... I just hope (I get that this is what he maybe thinking to a point based on the video annoucement) he doesn't feel like he's disappointing us "fans" ... we want brock to be happy and we (most of us anyway) totally support whatever he wants to do. He doesn't need (nor do any of you) "our approval"
I feel that we make get Brock (NOT AT FIRST ... not while he's "figuring things out") content like Anthony content ... it's not like daily or even every other day .. .but say once a month maybe or something ... WHEN/IF there is an upload (forgive me of this seems "hammed up") but ... its sort of a treat when there is an upload
Got a different channel, but I'm really trying to learn how to be a gaming RU-vidr so I could eventually play with guys like you. From the 90's and just wanna hang out.😎
The Problem Wildcat is there's people adhering to the guidelines and still getting demonetized every video. Which is a RU-vid being stupid. If RU-vid was doing so well with advertisers I like to believe they just wouldn't care about what content was created as long as Eye balls stick to screens and ads get seen.
It really just feels like the ‘wild west’ days of the internet are over. Every site is now regulated to a pretty standard degree to keep the place clean for the corporations and their money, (in the form of ads). It sucks, but it was bound to happen eventually.
In total ive been doing youtube for almost 10 years. IN Total. ( i started youtube in 2016, now i work on 2 of my channels. I made last year and my main one in 2020 And im only 20. I have plans to start a gaming channel on youtube and to stream on twitch
These guys are real friends and, oddly, I feel a part of the group. I have watched these guys for the better part of a decade, maybe a little more, and the talk to quitting makes me sad. I watch Moo's video yesterday and it hit me way harder than I thought it would These guy's and their content have been a huge part of my routine for years. Wish I would get the chance to have a beer with some of them, just hang out, chill, whatever. Obviously wouldn't happen, but would be cool and I think I would get on well with them all. Its tough. Its like an athlete retiring from the sport they love. Its how people know them. Its why they love them (same for me). Hope these guys can stick it through for much longer.
the youtube all these OG creators fell in love with no longer exists. now we have to walk on eggshells if we want our content monetized. too many rules, restrictions and shit we cant say or do. i think thats why alot of creators are leaving but they dont admit it. ive seen the entire vanoss crew have to bleep, blur and bow down to youtube just so they can post their content. it seems exhausting...
Moo mite not be doing vids anymore but we'll probably see him pop up in everyone else's channels. Just because Moo isn't doing RU-vid full time doesn't mean he won't still play games with his friends. 😊👍
