So many recordings in my archives of me doing this song. It is my favorite to play and sing and it never gets old to me. It is transcendent.
Maybe I’m convincing myself. Maybe it’s a state of being. Maybe “among the wildflowers” is the peace we are all looking for. The freedom we crave.
All I know is when I hear and sing this song it lights my soul on fire and makes me feel like I belong. Somewhere. If nowhere else, among the wildflowers✌🏼
