Especially white or wealthy men. They are highly enabled politically/ legally. They have lived generations of owning all the power and things are really tense in this post trump day. I’m older but don’t feel safe out and about. Abuse has been enabled in the WHITE HOUSE! And now every corrupt court in the country.
I love this too, but it seems like the future of music industry is country, so it's not really that original 😂 Nevertheless, I like the new music waaayy more than I expected
Interesting. Beyonce came out a couple days ago (or at least news articles) saying she wanted to do country music before about 5 years ago, but people were not welcoming. So she putting out the album now after she did her research on country music. So this reading regarding that aspect is correct.
ok so when he said that beyoncé wants to bring women together because when women fight men win, it made me think back to his Nicki Minaj and Megan The Stallion reading when he saw that someone behind the scenes wants them to make amends bc beyoncé has connections to both of them... just my thoughts tho!!!
i was also thinking billie elish from the way she went directly up to her at grammys while everyone else had to wait in line to get a pic with her. she clearly admires her work
What’s empowering about Beyoncé? That she doesn’t write any of her music? That she stays with a cheater and sings about blowing him? The accusations of witchcraft, murder, jealousy, and career ending politics of her and her husband? She’s an entertainer, nothing more. She’s getting older now and becoming irrelevant, especially because she isn’t an artist. She had a climate controlled room of all of her pictures and interviews. Home girl is a narcissist at best and a demon at worst. Her karma is coming.
She’s been gradually letting go of expectations since her self titled album in 2013. I’m glad to hear that she’s completely doing something for herself and other women. I can’t wait!
Right?! It's just keeping everyone in a scarcety mindset, for what. For some cheap distraction? When we should be collectively focusing on making life livable.
Me coming back to this video after listening to her new songs REPEATEDLY because it's *SO GOOD* and spot on with your reading! Congratulations for both of you!! 🎉❤ P.S.: The song Daughter hits me so hard and it's only written by Bey and Can Ochs - the song is hauntingly beautiful, paradoxically dark yet mesmerising, the vulnerability is captivating im cryinggg
It’s interesting that you say that she struggles to express herself verbally. I’ve long thought that Beyonce struggling to express herself in interviews is exactly why she doesn’t do them. And really it’s only played into her favor bc the less accessible someone/something is, the more valuable it is and the more people want it/them. And then she comes out with this art that you can envelop yourself in daily and the legend continues to grow and grow lol.
Well you’re misunderstanding the song bc it’s about grief and mass loss (titled requiem) but yea there are other songs which fit what Ant said for sure
You said it's a rebellious album and a way for other people to tell their stories. She performed at the CMAs in 2016 with the Dixie Chicks who were famously shunned by the country music industry for criticizing George Bush for the war in Iraq. The CMAs used her appearance to promote the show and get ratings but removed the performance from RU-vid/social media after country music fans had a fit. Some country performers at the show even got up and walked out during Bey's performance. She's billboarding the country charts right now and I'm sure they hate that. A black woman - especially one who does not fit the “culture” of country music otherwise - singing country songs is bound to get pushback from the good ol boys club.
I find this a bit ironic considering all the 'culture appropriation' hissyfits thrown from the black community. Beyonce isn't a country artist, for her to come over there just because she's a popular artist, probably feels the same to them. Last year, a country artist was the biggest selling album, now Beyonce is doing country? It looks like a money grab. I don't blame country fans for not believing she's authentic. Country fans at a country award show walked out when an R&B artist popped up for a song? I don't doubt it. How many folks do you supposed would walk out at an Essence Festival if a country artist got up their with his banjo caterwauling about his sad life in southern drawl?
@@xejelahI'm sure if Chris Stapleton showed up at essence fest people would actually be happy to see him. God forbid an artist who was born/raised in Texas by an Alabaman father and Louisianan mother want to delve into country music, a staple genre in southern culture that was started by her people.
@@xejelah The chart manager at Billboard determines which genre the songs are sorted into based on musical composition. I don't think artists necessarily call the shots there. So your frustration seems misdirected. Besides, she gets paid for streams, rather than chart placement, so it's neither here nor there which chart she tops. Not to mention Nashville country is just pop these days anyways. It sounds nothing like traditional country. There are plenty of country artists who aren't from the south or grew up on a farm. Are they culturally appropriating? Were you upset with Taylor Swift for branding herself as a country artist? Neither Conway Twitty nor Darius Rucker were country artists to start with, but both crossed over. It wasn't controversial for them. Can you even call "country" a culture?
Coming back to this after Cowboy Carter and you were spot on as always. This album puts a spotlight on black women country artists who have been trying to get radio air time but was not welcomed into the genre (e.g., Tanner Adell). It’s also about going back to the roots of Country music and showing that black culture has been part of it since the beginning but was never given the acknowledgment it deserved (e.g., the banjo having African diaspora influence, the backstory of the Carter scratch, and Linda Martell playing at the Grand Ole Opry). Finally, the song Protector literally has Ms. Rumi Carter featured on it and is about Beyonce paving the way for her kids. You truly are gifted, Ant!
You were the first person I saw talking about the parallels between Beyoncé and Britney Spears. To me, they’re two sides of the same coin, even if they’re different of course. Thank you for the reading!
Before you said she wants everyone to come together, I said she's in her Michael Jackson era. As a Virgo as well, I know this energy she's in with saying no to everything. I call it my purge era, purge as de-cluttering. Get rid of it all and I don't care aka new vibe alert.
I wonder if they are going to be female country stars. I am not huge into country, but just some rumblings I’ve heard is that you’d be hard pressed to hear female country artists on the radio. What’s a better way than shining light on female country artists than doing a cross over album? Beyoncé is Beyoncé no matter what. Idk just a feeling.
Black female country star babe like she was the only Black woman artist to chart she trynna change that by collating with black woman white ppl been leading man and woman so she trynna give space to black woman
Have you considered doing a video where you react to old readings to see if it came true? Like beyonces last album, you were spot on!!! You said she wanted to remind people she’s still that girl and she had a song called “I’m that girl” and she’s had her tiddies out all the damn time since she released it!
Im here for Beyonce's new era. Let her do what she wants. She's done things for others long enough. As for the visuals, agreed. I can see why she didnt like them.
You are so funny saying Sports Bowl instead of Super Bowl 😂 Blow someone’s mind and casually refer to the Vince Lombardi trophy randomly some time. Love you Ant!💗
I’m not into country but just based on her fashion choices, I knew it was going to be an emotional/love album because she’s wearing a lot of hearts. I think the album is for the people that are overly critical and refuse to accept her in the country space to reflect on why that is 🤠💅
She told this to Hollywood Reporter; “There was a time in my life when charts and sales excited and motivated me. Once you have challenged yourself and poured every ounce of your life, your pain, your growth and your dreams into your art, it’s impossible to go backward,” Beyoncé says. “I’m very grateful and humbled for the extraordinary success of the new album.”
It’d be genius to include talented people that nobody knows about throughout an entire album. Right now the people want to be heard and seen. Some people with little popularity are by far more artistic than the artists we know now. Hmm… interesting.

It's refreshing to see artists go through different genres and adding their own spin to the old and I am genuinely surprised that it seems like the general public and/or executives want the same stuff. Extra frustrating as someone who did jazz band & marching band where the shows cycled through different genres throughout the season. I'm excited for this & I hope it encourages more artists to be multi-genre.
Could we perhaps one day get a reading about the Jamison Family? For context they were a family of 3 that went missing in the woods, their car was found locked with their dog, personal possessions like purse, wallet and cellphones as well as $32,000 in cash still inside. 4 years after their car was discovered abandoned, the family's remains were found less than 3 miles from where their car was found despite search parties combing through the area years ealier. Everything about their disappearances was strange, from the security footage of them packing their car in trance like states to claiming there were 2-4 ghosts in their home. Very strange case all around... Lots of theories out there but nothing proven so far.

I remember Ant did a reading years ago that the future of politics or something about the future in general that it will become more feminine. More feminine empowerment. I'm glad for this. Women and the LGBT are fighting each other when that's not our enemy. Praying for a Beyonce and Britney Spears collab
It’s funny how Beyonce gets demonized called a demon and evil but her reading comes off like a nurturing mother. While Taylor comes off like a sweet wholesome gal but her readings always come off as mean spirited
OKAY but i love incorporating visual elements to my readings through my cards too - can i just say the absolute CHILLS i got at 6:20??? the two hands? like reaching to each other? Low key made me emosh because beyonce FEELS like that to me at least when i listen to her. It feels like shes cradling you, telling you its okay - while also empowering you. Beyonce has taught me about womanhood, being sensual as a woman and just feeling free and liberated - and standing up for yourself and whats right. I trust she will give voices to stories and women to, as you say, create this conversation. She will reach out her own hand to these women - like the ace of cups and pentacles - and bring us together once more through the power, love and support of girl hood

I think her last album was no where near as good as Lemonade and that was her pissed off.!!! I think the 2 country songs have thrown people off but they are good. Not sure if the whole album will be country but good for her for doing what she wants. Her fans will stand beside her anyway. She had one song on Lemonade that was country and i loved it. Go girl!!!! Yeeha!!!
I heard someone say Bey is going through the genres that blk ppl either helped create or were a part of but not anymore to say 'hey! We belong here too and I'm wondering what ppl think the third album will be like...I heard there's four!
Hi Ant, I really enjoyed this video and I wanted to suggest a reading on Billie Eilish’s new upcoming album! Please and thank you for your wonderful content ❤
She really is unfazed. She said don't tell me what to do 😂 .. And I knew she hated the visuals, we would've had them by now. I wouldn't be mad if we didn't get them at all lol
I feel like Jay can’t fathom her having an album that isn’t commercially successful and can’t stand to see her not be recognized, whereas she is finally at a place where she does not care and is making music for herself. It wouldn’t surprise me if he is one of the people weary of her releasing it. Not meaning that he’s demanding she not release it but I get a vibe that he’s hungrier for her commercial success than she is at this point bc she’s an “extension” of him😒
I really love watching your videos. I realized that you're not like most "pick a card" readers. There are not many talented readers, and you're lucky to be one. I'm a spiritual person myself and can feel easily if someone has a special gift or not. Sometimes I would feel anxious at some readings, as if something's wrong and I would instantly stop. Your energy is playful and innocent, which is great. Can't wait for more videos. 🌼. P.s. I would love to hear a Britney and Beyoncé collaboration. I remember Beyoncé liking Britney. She did not show much feminist side. At least for me. I'm very sensitive on this topic, and do not tolerate fake feminism preaching. She is in a toxic marriage, but wants to preach about women rights. Girl, if you want to be a good example, leave that cheating idiot and be a good mother, and a good person for yourself
It's the way I forgot about this album, oop!! this album feels like she at church repenting sins. I'm ready to sing this on this holy Sunday. You gotta start producing some of these girls albums because the amount of albums u have predicted has been spot on!! #AccuratePsychic
@@melissamoonchild9216their rendition of Where Did You Sleep Last Night, made me a lifelong fan of theirs, was literally singing Do Re Mi earlier today 😂❤
Love hearing that this is a long realised goal, Beyoncé has the vocals and emotional depth to sing country music, in my limited opinion. Don’t love the visuals so far, but everytime I hear Texas Hold ‘Em & 16 Carriages, it feels really cosy. Like being around a campfire, I agree there will be a lot of storytelling on the album 🪵❤️🔥
Confirmed it right for me! As soon as I read the title my initial reaction was “why would she care?” As soon as she announced it, it seems like a full on passion project.
I have never been so disgusted seeing other woman tear other woman down all over social media! We need Beyoncé to let it be known that’s not ok! Period! Hopefully woman will listen to her!
*Taylor never even told her own fans to stop when they were being racist AF and going in on SZA and she stays dead silent. They’ve also been relentless and gone in on Beyoncé too with also the same immense racism. Funny how nobody calls on her to chill her fans out and how they stay being problematic and how she doesn’t address anything ever herself. Start with her first especially since she literally is Miss Americana basically everywhere but people don’t call her out for it ever.*
Black female country star babe like she was the only Black woman artist to chart she trynna change that by collating with black woman white ppl been leading man and woman so she trynna give space to black woman
Taylor swift fans don’t tear Beyoncé up they just racists simple as that have you seen them comments white woman are the second most privileged groups and they forget about it
OMG, yes she 2:50, she should've released this in 2022 but didnt. 😭 Also, she did feature women in this album a lot 😭 She has Dolly and Miley, 2 big women artists 😂🤚🏼
