Will ChatGPT 🤖 Take our Power Apps Jobs?  

It will makes us better at our jobs - keep it a secret from your boss, and they will reward your increase in productivity. But remember - low code is about the marriage of business function / SME knowledge with technical. If chatgpt makes it quicker for us to dev, it certainly won’t make us better SMEs/Process experts or change managers. That’s why we are low coders - because we bring the human grey knowledge to the tech arena. That’s how I got my job. No way can I dev as well as 90% of you out there, but I have the other skills in combination with power platform. Not many devs can say that.

As long as you fill it with ALL of your knowledge by asking the questions... it surely could. Calling it our friend is the biggest mistake ever. I am an optimist but better be safe than sorry.. if I want great ideas and solutions I watch your channel. I dont go to Chat GPT. I go to a community with real people. Anyhow just trying to keep everyone awake. Love yalllll

think of chatgpt as a helper for now, while it watches and learns what works and what doesn't.. THEN it'll take our jobs.

Everyone worries about tech taking there jobs and it has been that way since before the Industrial Revolution. Thing is jobs will always be there. What happens is the jobs evolve. What we have to do is evolve with them. Be the ones in control f the tech or know the tech well enough for it to add value. Many example in my career of people saying this and that job will just go away. Guess what those jobs are still here.

Do you or anyone else you know offer one on one virtual customized training sessions to help build an app specific to the person? I am currently trying to teach myself powerapps and build an app simultaneously and it is very time consuming as you can imagine just researching how to do, link, create etc then Actually executing what I’ve learned. Do you have any suggestions as to where I may find virtual one on one custom training sessions?

So it is more like how we code in a notepad vs and IDE.

Hi Shane, I need your help and you did say on a video you read all your comments. Nothing to do with this video, although amazing, as always. I need help with another Power Apps query. I have been trying for many hours to do something with Power Apps, Power Automate, I can't find the right video or solution. I have created a PDF and saved all using Html, with your guidance. I save via Power Automate, but, I need that file name to be dynamic, based on Sharepoint List data, I've tried get items but then it saves all items as a PDF and I just need it to be the item selected in Powef Apps at that time. I also need to email that PDF, but the email address also needs to be dynamic and defined by and entry in Power Apps. I added a column called email in list, brought it through on Power Automate, which didn't work. I know this is highly inappropriate but I have been trying this for many, hours. If what I'm asking for makes sense then please, please, please can you tell me if you''ve created a tutorial or if you can guide me. Please. Thank you, Jo xx
