Dear Mr Vir Das, with due respect to your content which more often than not makes me laugh, putting vegans in the same category as Keto is extremely disrespectful NOT to vegans, but to the entire exploitation of animals. Veganism is not a diet, it is not ABOUT humans in the first place, it is and will always be about animals. Objectification of farm animals as livestock , making fun of it, is no different from an era where angry feminists or anti racists / slavery abolitionists were made fun of. Kindly go through the arguments of why us eating animals through artificially breeding, raping, enslaving, never letting them see the sun, fattening them up so much that they can't stand, systematically killing them off at particular ages, grinding alive male chicks, etc is different from the real food chain in which an animal like a tiger eats a deer'for survival. Humans not just eat them , but also enslave and use them for clothing, to test their cosmetics, to carry them, to use them for entertainment in zoos and fairs- ALL of them come under veganism. There are 101 reasons of people going vegan, but the day you see it from an animal's (victim) perspective rather than the human (perpetrator), that day you will come out of your privilege as a human. No hatred or negativity here , peace out.
