Devon should have give the pin right away for levan when he started to press. When ur hand is being opened like that u are gonna lose all your power from the hand. It is the same thing basically when u fail a rep for examble at bench, power is gone. Devon’s pronator was enough to control the hand…If devon stopped Levan once why he couldn’t do it again🫣I feel like going into the second round had already given way too much energy for the first round…If Devon had the same power left for the second round there could have been a chance to stop Levan again and maybe slowly Levan’s power could have started to fade like in the Ermes match…
Devon should not even consider another Levan match unless he's ready to go through a total body transformation, which would entail MUCH MUCH more than some pronator static holds, and some stem cells. He'd have to take it to the extreme level like Levan, who is pumped so full of PED's, he's a chemistry experiement at this point, and I doubt he lives into old age. This is probably next to impossible for a guy pushing 50 anyway. Extreme strength athletes are the future of the sport.
The diiferent between goat Devon and levan is Devon champion when he weight only 225 230 250 260 270 280 but levan can only become champion when he above 350lb. 😅
This guy doesn't know what he's talking about. Levan can't put 180 kg into his opponent's arm. You can't put force more than your arm strength irrelevant of your weight. Weight doesn't matter in arm wrestling.
@@ryandoppel9559 he will never beat levan. stop this delusions man. unless he wont get super amount of anabolics and get 20 quality pounds which would threaten his life he has no chance. or levan must break his arm wrist and shoulder. and dont ttrain for another year if devon keeps his weight. then also maybe...
I personally love the kings move and think the kings move foul shouldn't exist. It's simple, get rid of the kings move foul and the shoulder past centre foul and let armwrestlers fight. Levan actually fouled with his shoulder, that is the reason the ref stopped the round initially.
The ref didn't stop the match because of Levan, since Devon got the foul and lost the round. I don't think the shoulder past center should be allowed either because it gives an unfair advantage to taller pullers and it would result in really ugly matches were both opponents would have their whole torsos on the table.
@@hugohoeglund1424 the counter to that advantage is the kings move, that's the point. They are counters of each other. You call it ugly but to some it's better. As for the foul in the match, it was stopped because of Levan, not Devon. The foul was given to Devon by the down ref, but the ref that stopped it actually pointed to Levans shoulder and was about to award the foul. Look it up, I promise I'm right
@@Tasmanaut ok it seems there was some biased reffing going on since the bald ref pointed to Levan's shoulder while the other one insisted Devon fouled. Either way, king's move and press are not counters to "each other" but instead press is a counter to king's move, so what you said about king's move countering the press advantage doesn't really make sense. Either way, what I meant about matches becoming ugly without the center-shoulder rule is that pullers would block their opponents, using their torso, something we haven't seen in a professional match because that rule has been in the sport for decades.
wouldn't make any difference, he has no side pressure. He's got a sticking point on the open top roll, and if he rolls the shoulder he's got a press, but you need side pressure against Levan and a lot of it.
@@bbiggjayy73What he’s saying is it’s a waste of time, Devon has no chance because Levan has a press. He can only stop levan an inch from the pad at best. That’s not enough. Ermes has a much better chance and a few others would make for more interesting matches.
You’re such a Devon glazer it’s laughable. If round 1 wasn’t stopped levan would have won in that position anyway Devon had no escape. Move on bro it’s getting pathetic
Devon isn’t a strong man. Ultimately strength is all that matters. Levan is built like a strong man. Technique doesn’t matter as much as people think in armwrestling when two guys are veterans.
I want to see Devon as Brian Shaw's Armwrestling Sensei. And Kurdecha to join them in training. Add Corey West later. Just a Levan Smashers school. That would be tight.
Devon should train with stronger people if he wants to beat stronger people. But since he won’t return to super heavy weight I suppose his normal training is enough
I talked to him in person at the fitlog and he said even he could of done a little something with that arm break position but that he would of end up losing because his arm would of probably gave up the next rounds
Levan le volvió a ganar a Devon para que entienda que no tienen ninguna posibilidad de ganarle una sola pulseada , Levan está en un nivel superior , ahora Devon está deprimido porque no tuvo posibilidad de ganar contra Levan
Listen. So that you care about the entertainment. Make the match happen. Unofficial match: Levan vs Devon (Kingsmove is allowed). And IF Devon is gonna beat Levan, then the fangirls are gonna spam: , and people will just reply: . Fine?
No rule change would have stopped Levan from winning. Devon was banking on Levan not having a press…but Levan developed a very powerful press. It will take a more massive puller to beat Levan. My guess is that Levan’s health will fade from extreme drug use before anyone is ever able to beat him at this strength level…pretty much like Denis.
Devon still has a chance provided Devon needs todo zim benchpress dumbles power lifting with best mascular body 2 heneeds to llift as much as levon Then he can defeat levon
Dude. Why would ANYONE want to see Levan destroying Devon for a third Time? Are fanboys really still doubting Levans superiority over Devon after two clean sweeps? Like for real? Wanting a third match when the first two were not close AT ALL Is unheard of in ANY sport. Having one rematch Is Only justified if the first match was somewhat a close match. Let alone 2 rematches! A third match after the first 2 being so one sided Is ridiculous.
@@shouldi2711 what do round 2, 3 and 4 have to do with any fouling or bicep injury? Nothing. There Is ZERO excuses Devon fanboys can make about those rounds. As Long as Levan has a fairly decent setup, he Will flash pin Devon everytime. Whats the point of a third match? Do you want to watch another 6-0? For what?
I get where you are coming from but there are a few reasons. First off Devon looked good in round 1 and improved from the first match. If he was able to improve again then why not. But that is doubtful given his age. Secondly if Devon was to go back to super heavy weights and is beating everyone and is clearly the #2 guy again in like 2 years then why not? Levan has to arm wrestle someone so why not the #2 guy and most famous guy in the world. We already know Levan beats everyone currently so either Levan completely retires or he keeps fighting whoever is next best.
It's not interesting anymore, everyone knows what will happen. More interesting Devon vs. Vitali, Devon vs. Gandi rematch , Devon vs. new version Gasparini
No he shouldn’t he beat him Twice this time if devon want another shot at Levan he must climb the ladder beating Vitaly/Kurdecha/Revaz/Morozov and genadi who is the last guy defeated devon he must earn his spot again not just hand him Levan and pass the other armwrestlers might as well call it the devon show….but no.
Devon's just coping. If he wanted to get a real stop on Levan he needed stronger back pressure and side pressure. We don't want to watch rounds of arm wrestling where you're forced to break someone's arm just to get the pin, it's bullshit
Going under the table is absolutely righteously forbidden. Cause it's BS and not armwrestling. It's not about Devon and Levan. No one should ever be allowed to do such sh*t. Every sport has rules for a reason.
More excuses please. Levan's first natural competition weight was more than devon's current weight who's on everything in the world. Frame difference. Revaz or vitaly has the real superheavyweight structure needed to rival levan, devon is a heavyweight, not a superheavyweight
@@Sapphire24-ie5uf You obviously know absolutely nothing about the sport. Levan was 176lbs at one point. He's competed at 200lbs, 220lbs and 240lbs. Even at 260lbs if memory serves correct. He was a nobody until he took so much PEDs he literally doubled his bodyweight. He couldn't even win at 150kg! Devon would destroy anyone in history if he could weigh 150kg. Levan had to go north of 160kg to actually start winning! Up to 180kg to dominate. Not really all that impressive when you weigh 20kg - 70kg more than 99% of the guys you pull. What Devon does at 115kg - 120kg is way more impressive.
@@tomhaslimitshall2375 levan was 176 lbs at one point, when? When he was 16😂? Levan's first competition weight at waf was registered around at around 280 lbs, he competed at superheavyweight since the beginning, "he was a nobody" tf u mean? He was the georgian national champion, it took devon decades to win Canadian nationals, he only lost to elites like genadi and krasimir that too when he wasn't at peak form, love how people bring his newbie losses and compare them to people's peak records, by that logic devon isn't top 100 in the sport because he has a losing record against almost every elite guy of the past ron bath, travis bagent, john brzenk, you just name it. "He couldn't even win at 150 kg" levan at 150 kg became the WAF and EAF champion multiple times in 2018, destroying genadi who may I remind you, devon failed to beat despite not having that much of a weight gap. Levan that destroyed vitaly laletin was 165 kg, and unlike you devon fanboy I don't blatantly lie about proofs. The armbets tv provides ample proof of all that data.. This is open class, nobody complained about cleve Dean overweighing his opponents by 200 lbs, john never complained, Goodridge never complained and they still beat him. It's not other superheavyweights problem that devon's bones are made of paper and weigh like that too despite juicing 10 times than everyone. And PEDs? Devon has been juicing since the 90s , even got clot problems because of that , does 10 types of disgusting "therapies" and still was never close to being as successful as levan who competed for 2 decades less that too in tested events, which may I remind you larratt avoided. Larratt is a one hit wonder, was good for a couple months, beat 3 washed superheavyweights lost to 3 and retired
