Mazda 3 turbo with polymetal grey and red interior would probably be enough to make me switch from audi. Tired of maintaining a German car but no way I'm buying a civic or American brand.

First time I saw your review, doesn't mind filming quality, love the way you explain thing with some kind humor.

I think I’d definitely buy this. Alas, I have a five year old CX-9 Signature which I love, standing in the way. I love the little egg, because it evokes the original GLC/323 from the 70’s and 80’s. IMO it’s one of the best sport compact available. Not a Speed3, nor is it a 323 GTX. You realistically need no further mods than a pedal commander and I think this car would be with you for many many years. Thanks for another great review see you soon

I owned a Mazda 3 2012/I had no problems amazing quality and reliable wise amazing and now I got 2020 Mazda 3 GT. When I traded my 2012had 377 thousand kms I swear to god same original engine and transmission never fixed a thing major problems just wheel paring and front ball joints that’s was it these cars are 💯% made in Japan 🇯🇵 quality product and amazing reliable cars to trust in my own personal opinion and experience Mazda product are as good as Toyota quality Thanks 🙏

I got a 19 soul red hatch with the standard 2.5 which surprisingly gives me plenty of power with the 186 number 4 both specs. Now going to 320ft lbs would be a definite push back in your seat interesting ride !

Absolutely! I just get my new Mazda 3 Turbo AWD! 🔥 I young man of 56 years-old and have previously an Acura TLX 2015, and after the vehicle start to have electronical issues, and constantly go to the car dealer for the reset of the computer, then the issues jump to the transmission and have to get a new one at price of 8K plus another 3 more weeks at the shop...I offer to sell the car with failure and just get a small portion it value. In the mean time I look for GTI, GLI, CIVIC, K5 de KIA and hands down the best is Mazda 3 Turbo AWD with Polymetal and red/black interiors. The car is just amazing, powerful but at same time comfortably...and a little extra is way more sexy. I strong recommend this car, worth it every penny.

I have had mine for about 1 year Absolutely love it Smoothest ride I have ever driven and moves like hell !!

This is the most comprehensive review of the Mazda3 GT Turbo I've seen to date, and the fact that you use real world measurements (Double meat subs, twinkies that won't burst, etc.) really speaks to, well, everyone who eats! Hilarious food aside, the Mazda3 GT Turbo is a real world sleeper. My wife got the sedan in Feb this year and we've humbled an overwhelmingly satisfying number of drivers since then. This is the perfect car for her and the price point is staggering. It's a different drive/feel/experience compared to my 2018 Civic Si coupe, I'm very fortunate to have both in my life (oh, and her haha). She came from a 2016 Mazda3 and this upgrade was beyond night and day.

Lori did a super job on this one! Joe, thank you for working with Morse Mazda to make this review happen before that beautiful Mazda 3 Turbo sold! We at home appreciate all that you guys do for us!!!

Not a bad looking little car. Mazda did a great job with the design. Never been a fan of the hatchback look but this one is not too bad. The automobile makers should probably come up with a sexier name for hatchbacks. Great job on the review as always. 👍

I just bought the 2021 mazda R3.....hatchback....I absolutely love love love it!

Some of the Zonks you gave have available options. There's an Aero kit which gives a front splitter, even better sides, a better spoiler, and rear diffuser. The premium package includes 360 cameras, larger reverse screen with trajectory lines that move, and top down perspective as well. Such a good car.

I have a 2019 mazda3 hatchback premium and I love it the color is titanium flash mica.

God,I want this car so bad. Can't afford it but it's my dream car. Love the color, everything. No zonks in my opinion. God bless everyone who is able to buy one. It's a keeper ....

I just wished Mazda wouldn't limit the Red interior only for the Premium Hatchback. I don't mind paying extra to get it on the sedan version.

The sedan version of this car is a serious sleeper commuter car. I love that you can go down to 87 octane.

For the "no 93 octane in my state" issue, find racing fuel, usually 108-110 octane, purchase in approved container (they won't let you dispense into cars), and put in 1.5 gallons of it into tank, top off with 87, and that will result in about 93.5 octane on a full 13.5 gallon full tank.

People don't understand Mazdas until they actually drive one. Once upon a time I rented a mazda 5 for a trip to vegas, yes the minivan with 3 rows. I Fell in love by it's performance and automatic/stick transmission. I never went back to toyota, nissan or honda. I can't wait to upgrade my 2013 hatchback to this model, I love the brick red leather trim and the black rims.

I agree, that machine grey color is gorgeous. I know the c-pillar design has been divisive since it was unveiled. I’m still not sure I like it but overall it’s a helluva car.

First car of my choice was a 2014 Mazda 3. 2 years later i switched to Hyundai Kona. I always missed mazda but last few months ive been hooked on getting a veloster N. With this video I am 1000% sure i am going back to Mazda.

Traction control off + sport mode on, + brake boost at 2k = Happy Times!! We hit a timed 5.75! Great video brotha. I love ours!!

Been waiting for the Mazda3 hatch turbo to come out. Thinking about getting one myself after getting my wife her CX-5 Turbo. Imagine the acceleration of this car with a DCT, It would be killer.

Mazda makes a beautiful interior. I enjoy the objectivity in your reviews, long time subscriber and your reviews have continually gotten better over the years. I wish Mazda would offer a manual but with single digit % take rates in most non-sports cars, I get it. And would it be better to get the black interior over the red for long term ownership? I fear the red may fade more.... ? I wish that Mazda would offer the dark wing grill trim on their other models. It's beautiful on this hatch with the dark wheels.

Here in the UK the manuals are everywhere but I like mine Automatic. It seems this is best in an auto so will have to think about it. Crazy the US has mostly Auto's - that's nuts! That machine grey looks stunning on the Mazda 3 - Love it!

Great video. At this moment in time this car is not available in Europe. We have the models with the Skyactive X engine though. When you think about it, this car could easily be taken up a level to Zoom Zoom status. Meanwhile I'll keep my 2011 3 MPS (Speedthree) - I don't use it as a daily though, as nice low mileage ones are getting pretty rare now. That new Yaris GR is the big sensation here and well done Toyota for having the courage to make it.

Good point about the switch to multi-beam rear suspension from independent rear suspension. Why did they do that? That move was not consistent with their corporate credo about their focus on driving fun. I guess life is all about compromises, especially as it relates to the almighty dollar. Lastly, excellent point for all the people lamenting that’s it’s not a revival of the Mazda3 Speed, no Mazda3 Speed ever had an interior of this quality. As an aging car enthusiast who no longer looks appropriate driving a car with boy racer styling this vehicle is at the top of my list when I have to replace my 2013 Acura TSX sport wagon. Great review Joe and kudos to Lori behind the camera. You are so blessed to have a nice woman like her as your wife and a job you love. You are living the life I wish I had. ❤️

I love that Mazda didn’t do the boy racer spoilers and the loud exhaust ( 4 bangers sound like crap,leave it quiet ). I would buy it but I’m not paying $30-35k for any Mazda 3

Beautiful looking and well appointed hatchback! I would love to buy one with manual transmission (from Miata)! The one thing I didn't sense from this thorough review, was a driving excitement! There was no emotion or "zoom-zoom"

Can you choose leatherette for the turbo -- couldn't really tell from their website where it fits in the trim lineup. I'd love to get a turbo but at the "Preferred" trim. Vegan -- don't do leather. Thx.

The Premium plus package fixes most of the issues you mentioned with the camera quality and such. I have the 2021 Mazda 3 turbo sedan in the Machine Gray premium plus package.

This is some good car the c pillar looks a little bit weird but it’s still beautiful

I owned a 2004 Mazda 3 and always wished for the sedan to have a 3 Speed edition. This looks to come close.
