Journalism in America is a joke.

Not sure why comments are so critical of the journalists. I heard people laughing the whole time.

I love how people take journalism so seriously and think it's actually independent and shit. It's just another arm of corporations, so people with sticks up their asses about people making fun of journalism are hypocrites of the highest order. Corporations control both the News Media and the Government and saying journalism is just about reporting the news and confronting powerful people with the tough questions is not only illusory but criticizing people for making fun of their holier than thou hypocrisy is horrible. Learn to take and joke and learn that you're getting into a industry that is solely devoted to keeping the status quo in power through mass brainwashing of the public.
