Thanks Jon! Love the content. Summer is now over here in the States, and depending on the weather I may or may not be able to play as much as usual. This will definitely give me something to work on during the “off season.” Keep up the good work and keep the tips coming! ⛳️
Great to hear from you, thanks for commenting and the encouragement! I treated Sydney's recent lockdown like an off season and was honestly amazed but the SuperSpeed and Force Pedal results. I've played Golf for over 20 years and never seen such a big change in such a short period - it was simple and I easily picked up 30-40 yards carry. I don't think I could speak more highly of them. Good luck
Love your content jon, i am a sub here in America found you surfing for golf. really enjoyed the speedstick result and you are right 99% of us are regular joes who love golf.
Hi Jon, New subscriber from Canada. I’ve just come back to the game after a long recovery from illness. I’ve lost over 20mph club head speed, and a lot of flexibility. I’m doing a lesson program with fitness training all winter- and my speed sticks should be here tomorrow! I’m looking forward to seeing how much an old fat man can improve in golf and fitness! Your story- even tho’ you’re quite a bit younger and fitter than am I gives me hope! Keep up the good work- we ‘regular Joe’ golfers need to stick together!
I love that putting out videos lets people around the world connect! Thanks for the comment and subscription. The speed sticks and training has easily added +30 yards to my tee shots - I couldn't recommend them higher. I've played for 20-25 years and never seen anything have such a big impact, I really hope that they help you!!
Thanks for thinking of me. You're welcome to email me your ideas but it would depend on what the products are and if I feel like they would suit me - I'm all about trying to maximise my practice around family and work. My email should be in the About section. Thanks
Hi Jon, thanks for the great review. Just a couple of questions if I may. In regards to not having the Mini Force Pedal, did you by pass the Heel Stomp Swings in the Swing Speed Protocol which require the MIni or did you just do them with the normal size Force Pedal? Also the protocol says to repeat the 7 lots of reps 3 times per session. Just wondering did you follow this to get the required outcome?
Hey Robert, thanks. I think the Force Pedals are options with SuperSpeed - I was doing SuperSpeed before they linked up with the Force Pedal, so not all training used the Pedals. I did the Force Pedals a little seperate to SuperSpeed and followed the guide that at the time was on the Force Pedal website. Personally I find the Pedals a great tool to use on and off to help reinforce the feeling. I've not found anything quite as good at providing that feedback on the the force feel.
I’m not sure I’m buying the force pedals claims but there’s no doubt about the speed sticks. If you watch Tiger, Rory, Robert Garrigus, etc. they use the “squat” motion in their backswing, you can actually see their legs squat and head dip when they take the club back. Then as they complete their forward swing you can see them literally pushing off the ground and raising up through impact. That’s the move that will get you more distance but it’s a timing move that takes practice to get it right. I think the pedals probably help you feel that motion but the real distance will be found in your legs pushing off the ground through impact. The speed sticks are awesome, I don’t care how old you are you can improve your distance using them. Good video and congrats on improving your distance.
I'm with you on this. For me the pedals are a very useful way of understanding the feeling if you don't get the concept. It's about grasping the feeling as much as anything.
Hope it helps! Not a full length video - the odd clip here and there but I've not done a video just on the combo, though used them together plenty of times.
Super cool! Never heard of this product before until I saw your last video after your Speedstick training. Super interested about the long term improvement of these 2 products.
@@JonPerkinsGolf have you purchased the mini force pedals as well? Not sure what the differences are. You inspired me to look into Superspeed and the pedals! Subscribed!
For me, definitely the original three Super Speed sticks. The C Club is useful and has it's place but the three sticks were more use in making a bigger jump. Hope this helps.
Are you still using the force pedals? I have been using them and saw great results with my irons( indoors so far). But didn’t translate to my driver which is baffling.
Hmmm that's interesting, if anything people usually sound like they find gains in the driver before the irons. I don't use mine religiously but do keep cycling back to them. I find them great for just resetting the feelings I'm trying to create.
@@JonPerkinsGolf yea I was surprised at the results also. Maybe I trust more getting pressure in my lead foot and Using ground to get my hips turning in the irons but not in driver yet. I will keep working at it and I use them every range session, so easy to carry and use, definitely my favorite training aid bc of ease of use and the results so far.
@@jimmyp6049 I find it really interesting! Good that's improving the results in the irons at least. Keep up the great work I'd say. Keen to know if the Driver does catchup in time.
Hey Lando, good question. I've dialled back my use of the Speed Sticks temporarily and I've seen no drop off what so ever. From the reading I've done, it suggests that once you bring your base avg up, it stays with you. I can only talk from my experience though. Hope this helps.
@@JonPerkinsGolf thank you for the answer, I ordered one set from ebay, looking forward to my driver club speed from 98 to 110 or distance to over 250 then:)
Thanks! That's definitiely what it feels like to me but it's a feeling, I don't have any swing data to show one way or the other. Thanks for following along.
Yes, exactly right. They're very good for teaching you the feeling of better weight shifts, which I think in turn helps a lot to the replicate it in your swing without them. Good luck
I Jon! I'm in my super speed training (5 weeks). while my results will never be as good as you (I'm 64 years old) I hope I can improve substantially from my 89 mph driver speed. Me also I've been reading to use ground force but I struggle to get the hang or feeling that goes with it. That is why this video of yours is interesting, you really sense with those what using ground force feel like? Luc
Good luck and thanks for following along! The Force Pedals are the first things I've tried that have actually made me understand the feeling you're trying to achieve. They're fairly simple and I took a while to get used to them when hitting balls, but they did practically get across what the force feelings should be. Hope this helps somehow.
