Let's get in the groove with Will.I.Am and AMG! I'm in Las Vegas to meet the legend, find out all about his AMGs, go for a drive, and discover the new MBUX Drive Sound the brings music production direct to your AMG. Meet your hero moment, let's go!
I'm in Las Vegas to stop by CES, where Mercedes-AMG have introduced the new AMG Drive Sound technology in collaboration with legendary producer, Will.I.Am. Re-writing the rulebook, the new system enables the driver to conduct the music with inputs from steering to suspension and pedals creating a unique soundtrack to each journey. I'm hopping on board an EQE 53 4MATIC+ SUV with Will to drive the Las Vegas Strip and find out what it's all about.
Having grown up a huge fan of the Black Eyed Peas, and gone to one of their concerts at The O2 in London back in early 2010, it's definitely quite a fanboy moment for me meeting Will.I.Am, and being able to head out in the car and see how this tech really gets him going. Come along with me to sense his passion for the concept and how much it opens up a totally new world of music opportunity.

That's cool Tim, you hooked up with Will I Am. Definitely finding your way to the best events that are offered.. The only comment on that feature is since the 80s cars have had aftermarket systems installed in them. Especially in the 90s, we always redid the factory systems to cater to our music lists from CD changers to a I Pod to a memory stick to pairing your cell..

This feature is all about the drive. I find myself putting my foot down when I'm listening to favourite parts of songs. I think this feature will take that to the next level. It would really enhance the thrill of doing something dynamic in the car. Definitely wouldn't use it often but here and there, it would definitely be cool to play with and impress people with.

Love this concept! The last time I experienced something like that was in Tetris Effect with the sound responding to inputs, at first its strange then in a second realised I cleared all the levels/songs 🤣 (bonus point if you also have a vibrating headset and an Ambilight TV). Congrats Will 💪🏾

I love it what a great idea it’s like you are in your own movie clip with your own background music which you’re own emotions, it’s the ultimate in luxury for me.
