If the SB in that spot is likely to stack off with hands you dominate (weaker aces, KQ, KJ) does it make more sense to just shove pre instead of inducing him to check-raise shove when he may have 2 live cards that still win a third of the time? I.e. you still get him to give you action with dominated hands when you shove I think, but deny him his equity with hands that can't call the shove?

@@JeffBoski But the "luck" also applies to how "lucky" you run on tournaments with different buy-ins. Running good in a $10 tournament and then running shitty in $1000 tourneys is actually "bad luck." I'm not saying that luck evens out over time; that's actually a fallacy. Some people are straight up luckier than others over a lifetime. Just saying that your explanation of "using up your luck" is a little misleading. Anyway, great video as always man!

In addition to everything else, I like your artistic chip shots, both still and in motion. That last one with the chip standing on it's ege toward us needs to be a gif seen around the world and/or a fresnel lens print with the video shown from end to end just by rotating the photo in frame by 90 degrees. At the end, you had chips left. Were you forced to turn those in to get your payout? I collect all that sort of stuff for the fun of it. My largest old chip plaque is from Monte Carlo, 2,000,000 Francs made of bakelite when that was $600,000 USD cash. Can you imagine? RASpect King. Let me know if you ever make it to L.A..

Imho if you play professional tennis, poker, anything you can handle the losses through thinking of wins in the recent past, the feeling of victory should then be bigger then the feeling of failure. If there's not enough victory to think back of to compensate for the inevitable losses there's a problem. Who knows, maybe only about 500 poker players worldwide can live of it very nicely with a lot of money and the rest struggles?
