I
Working at our fully equipped workshop in Kent we carry out tasks including Panel beating, Body work, Mig Welding, Sheet metal Spot Welding, Fabrication, Chassis Repairs, Sand Blasting, Engine and Mechanical repairs, Reconditioning, Restoration and Structural repairs on the Celette Jig Dozer frame machine.

We do receive quite a few questions regarding tools and equipment that we use for various jobs. Unfortunately there is too many to list but some of the brands we use include Snap-on, Blue-point, Makita, Sealey, Clark, Esab and Sykes-Pickavant.

Good one lads , yrs ago a farmer I worked for bought a farm, in auction, and when we cleared one of the barns , in the corner under a load of crap was a series 1 hidden away that hadn’t been moved for 20 odd yrs , within a week a land rover garage had it running , and cos it was in the first 100 ever built confirmed by records , the farmer let some motor Museum in Birmingham have it , and this was when I was 19 ,,, 55 now , cheers , love to see old cars up and running and on the road ,,, Shane uk 🇬🇧

Great respect for doing the MOT check to make sure what is needed, many who deal with MOT exempt cars wouldn't bother. You clearly are an ethical trader, great work

Very straight and tidy truck, especially on the chassis which matters most. Engine sounds sweet, was never a fan of the 2.25 diesel but that one sounds bang on. This would be an ideal basis for a tidy rebuild.

Good call on flipping the Landie, at least you got it in the public domain and an enthusiast can go through it with a fine tooth comb and at a very reasonable price. Your channel grows because you talk to us and not down to us and get us as excited as you are to progress your largest project, keep it up guys this channel is a really good watch.

From across the pond. While visiting Jersey some years back I watched WD with Edd C. & Mike. They rehabed a 90(?) farm plugger and turned it into a "chelsea tractor". I loved the transformation. Thanks. Narragansett Bay

I've owned 'proper' Land Rovers for 25 years now - so I'll be following this with interest. I wish I still had my '72 soft top 88. I had it 17 years and did lots to it (including a passable hand paint restoration in (of course) Bronze Green enamel. New khaki tilt - dog used to love sticking his nose out of the sides when rolling along. They are lovely. These days have a 200Tdi hard top and a nice old Rice Beaufort horse trailer. Both get used in my landscaping business. Can't beat them...

I learnt to drive in one of those on a farm when I was 15. Built like tanks but great fun to drive. Your plan for a quick turnaround seems the best thing to do, 😊

I hate to say this , but the Land-rover is designed from the Jeep. Ouch that hurts !!! The Wilks brothers ( Rover engineers) had a farm on Anglesey after the war. They took an ex forces Jeep down and drove it round for few days ending up in Red Wharf Bay parked on the sands. They then drew in the sand what they wanted to make for the Rover car company. Shortage of steel produced the alloy body. And the early prototype models included one with the steering in the middle. The famous Center Steer . For use as a sort of tractor by farmers .

What a feeling 😊 I screamed with the excitement when you got it started the wife thought I won the lottery. You definitely brought back some awesome memories. Drove one to the dunes of sahara in south Morocco from London and back it was the BEST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE IN 1994. WE DID ATLAS MOUNTAINS THIS THING GOES EVERYWHERE IT'S AN AMAZING ENGINEERING. I wish I'm bit younger😭 I would have bought it of you straight away. I'm thinking right now what can I do!!?? My back is gone my knees are not far off but i can hear my heart beating louder... As a Landy Nut I really enjoyed this one Rob. I bought a series 3 in a similar state and over the years got it tip top. Sorry I sold it now. PS please fit seat belts. They're dirt cheap and a must.
