Will it run again? Suzuki King Quad ATV - all chewed up!

This 4 wheeler was left out in the elements for years. It has battled bears and extreme weather. I think it is a Suzuki King Quad 300 built between 95 and 97. Please let me know if you know what year or exact model this is.

That is a great little machine, I have the same one and with the 3 range transmission it outdoes a lot of larger machines. If the front brakes don’t improve, check the strut that goes between the two shoes. Mine were only slightly worn and the handle went right to the handlebar, replaced them and now full stop at less than half.

Owner of 5 of these here. While watching the video i noticed: when you're bleeding the brakes you were pumping fast, i found it better to bleed the master cylinder via creeping up very slow in the first ¼ of the actuation. You will see more bubbles this way. Also⚠️ it looks like you put ordinary engine oil into it. These things have a wet clutch and will require jsao ma/ma2 engine oil (wet clutch ready) or any motorcycle oil should do. If ignored you're pretty much going to ruin your clutch overtime. It also seems very out of tune. Judging by the gas in the old fuel pump im assuming it was sitting. I would recommend checking out the intake boot for any air leaks. I have full manuals available and lots of extra info you may need about these. I love the restoration, you really turned this things life around❤

@@3mteersthey do have a factory winch option, comes on a bumper that can be bolted on to the other bumper, got a 97 with one

The way you had the winch and block hooked up it wasnt doubling the torque... still worked tho

When you heated the bolts and melted the plastic, you almost lost me. When you bent the float on the OE carb, I just about turned it off. In making these videos, people are watching it to learn how to fix their machine. Please don't teach them hack methods that damage the irreplaceable factory parts. I am impressed with your manual tire machine skills!

Hey I’m a bit late here but I might add something. I don’t know what part it is for the throttle but when your idling it sounds like your reving it. Is not so good for your carb and engine. Great 4 wheeler though! I have A red 1991 300cc 4x4 King-Quad, and a red 1987 2x4 250cc QuadRunner. My 250cc has the same issue while idleing. Great video keep up the great work!

I will put the cost breakdown for all the parts in the description, but I put in around $225 for parts and supplies. I had an extra battery, so I did not have to purchase one. I did not keep track of the hours. I worked on an off for several weeks.

Use ing eather or starting fluid is foolish, can kick back and break idler gear housing off For real don’t do it, use gasoline to prime it Now you know 😊
