This 1967 Ford Fairlane was bought sight unseen after sitting for 40 years. This is a legendary street/strip car from Pottstown PA. We stuffed a small block ford and 5 speed manual in it. A guys going to take a few laps at the local drag strip, then attempt to drive it 900 miles home back to Tennessee.

My theory on the "wrench" you heard on your video the other day bouncing under the car was the piece of all-thread you cut off of the air cleaner stud! When you cut it, I said to myself, "that's going to fall out and scare the crap out of them"! Keep up the great videos.

I can't believe he let you drive it knowing how far he had to drive! If there's one thing I know from watching MTOD, Roadkill, HRG etc etc, it's don't let Tony drive your car unless ya want content! He breaks everything! No offence Tony, Love ya! But Zero mechanical sympathy, until afterwards!

My brother, who was 13 years older than me, had an almost perfect 66 Fairlane GT, 390,4 speed ,when I was just a boy and, man did I love the rides that he took me on. Unfortunately, for us, God decided that it was time for him to come home, just a few months ago. Thanks Derrick, Tony and all of the guys. Very special. Brought back a lot of good memories. Hey Derek. Next time you get cold or foggy winders...a fella should grab a roll of heater hose at a parts store. Just loop the hose around the dash and back out to the engine. With enough hose you can loop over the dash and down along the floor to keep your earth pounders and the windscreen defrosted. No heater core needed. Plugs two holes in the firewall too.

As soon as I saw Tony in the car I said Derek's a brave man because he's gonna break that car. Boom first pass. Classic Tony.

A friend of mine in Highschool had one back in the 80's. It was stock and clean, and fun to ride in! Cool cars!

I have been watching for a while and I always enjoy the videos. I think Derek is setting a positive example for the viewers. " your project won't work if you don't"

Wow, what a GREAT guy Jason and Marty are. Must have made THEIR day to have VGG in Jasons garage. He knew his stuff too which is SUPER cool.
