There is an American you tuber who is always getting called out for having diesel in a red container by the work place and health practitioners. His response as long as the containers don’t leak who gives a ______ . I can remember in the late 1950’s I must have been about 4 yrs old there was an old flat top Biltz down the road with a beer bottle on the back. I took a swig thinking I was having a beer BUT alas the bloody thing contained PETROL 😂😢😮

You got a sub! I have been looking at an old crane blitz like this. I remember my father driving them when I was a kid. I wonder if you could put a modern, nylon winch rope onto that reel and save 100kg? And I'm sorry if this is sacreligious but I've been thinking about engine swaps as well. I don't want crazy modern horsepower, I just want a small, modern, strong engine that I can get parts for and maintain a bit easier. I think I read these old motors put out about 70hp? I'd be happy with 70 to 90hp in a smaller motor that doesn't take up as much of the cab. The only issue is I do love the sound of those old motors.
