The only thing that stopped my B3000 dual sport (Mazda badged ranger FX2) was a phone pole . I drive an official ranger now, the 3.0 is a rock, because the pioneers used to ride these babies for miles.
well of course it started it's a Ford fucking Ranger, pretty hard to kill them! Seriously, the 3.0litres are tough engines, never had any issue with my 2000 and I abused the hell out of it. Best of luck at the race!
