My factory battery lasted 8 yrs. When it failed, I picked up an identical motorcraft replacement. I just slapped it in. That was over 3 yrs ago. Never reset bcm. No issues. 2012. 5.0L 226k miles. Factory alternator still. I commented on your previous short vid about my father's 2.7L had a bad wire, after installing a $500 replacement alt. The white communication wire broke and it was overcharging the battery.
I did see the last comment, I made sure to check that wire and couldn't see anything wrong with it. Maybe I should've stuck with motocraft, seems like that's the trend with these trucks. If is not motocraft then you'll have issues
