I don’t know a lot about Levis but I see that he makes throws with defenders coming to lay a big hit, which is respectable. As an nfl quarterback, you gotta be able to take big hits and deliver the football
Josh Allen opened the door, and this kid is coming right through after him.. He has the size and agility of Allen with an arm that of John Elway- a canon. That's a scary combo..
@PandaArcoiris '_' Wentz had 27 tds to 7 ints that season. Before he started to get injured he was a heck of a qb. The Colts defense let Wentz down that season. The offense would put up 30 pts. The defense would give up over 30
@@allfacts19 yeah but you didnt see other part about him. He sucked so bad, a lot, when we needed him the most, even with the simpliest reads, he wanted to make huge plays and it was so frustrating.
@@panditas7679as a Colts fan, I don't disagree that the version of Wentz we got was pretty bad. But I don't see that in Levis. Wentz always wanted to throw deep, even if it meant throwing into triple coverage. (Almost like he was trying to prove himself) Levis has no problem taking checkdowns. He will need to work on his interceptions, but I think we will get more of the 2017 version of Wentz with Levis. He has good accuracy, but is more athletic than Wentz. I think with coach Steichen, Levis will prove a lot of doubters wrong.
@@neverstopimproving89 i think any of the 4 qbs will do great with our new headcoach but i would just take levis if he was the last available. My order is: stroud, young, richardson, levis
The reason Levis is scary, is that you are expecting him to get sacked or throw an interception! It's no wonder no NFL team was going to waste a first round pick on him. Maybe a second rounder and future 3rd string QB.

As a steeler fan best believe I'm here wondering how we gonna stop this guy when our young qb is hobbled and probably an inferior qb to alot of these rookies this year
Man, his highlights are strong!! On the right team, he is the missing piece! Kinda reminds me of Josh Allen with is running ability and Mac Jones where he has a way to drop the ball in the bucket and makes it easy for receivers to catch. He release looks fast, and can throw a frozen rope if he has to. TN is very lucky! The should be excited with him now!
Watching his highlights for the first time as a titans fan. I love his quick reaction and release. He has a great eye for finding the best available option. However, his ball placement on deep lobs are a bit worrisome. In college you can get away with throwing those but in the NFL these dbs are too good and will grab those. Very high upside though, especially for a 2nd round pick. #TitanUp
If you watch more than his highlights he throws those lobs wayyyyyy more than he should be. He obviously likes to try and pick up quick yards but his pocket awareness is horrendous definitely needs some work on his game IQ but his arm is phenomenal
Great eye for finding the best available option? Please, I challenge you to point out to me just ONE PLAY in which he didn't stare down his intended receiver from start to finish. Give me the time stamp of any plays where he looked one way and threw another. What I saw was him telegraphing his passes. He never took his eyes off of the intended receivers from the moment he took the snap, PLUS he had great pass protection - plenty of time to set and throw. He also forced the ball threw it up for grabs when receivers were covered instead of finding the more open man. It was the receivers who made great plays on the ball in those situations. I'm not impressed with this guy at all.
@@artvandelay8090 I didn’t think of it that way, maybe the coach has a lot of deep pass plays, but either way he’s very consistent at hitting is intended target. In my opinion straight talent comes first and talent such as knowing where to pass comes with experience

Watching this dude throw in the combine right now, dudes got a rocket arm, & a throwing motion that reminds me of Rodgers, wish my Vikes could get him lol Hope he makes a name for himself
vikes fan here. i would not be unhappy if they picked him in Rnd 1. seems to be a hybrid btwn Rogers and Josh Allen. i like it. spend a year behind Kirko and then let's roll.

@@coreyle yep I woke up & was a little lenient that we got Addison, but seeing Levis still on the board I’m pretty optimistic. Jefferson x Addison x Levis would be absolutely lethal
@@todaywaspretty6309 Paxton Lynch was a physical specimen but had a terrible release in college, not sure why he got drafted as high as he did. Levis checks the board for everything you're looking for in a modern qb; quick release, multi angle throwing ability, escabilty and the ability to maneuver inside the pocket, he also come from an NFL ready system. This dude is way overlooked. He has the potential to be a superstar. I think he's the best in the draft. Every scout should have him on their radar
@@diegodayzz__5520 Bryce Young checks the box in every category except size. Cj Stroud has too many bad attributes for me to be a fan, he's gonna bust just like Paxton Lynch. Levis checks every single box
Wow, his pocket awareness is FREAKISHLY good. I'm not crazy about his throwing motion, it reminds me of Phillip Rivers a little bit. (Though, Rivers made it work, that's for sure!)
Based on this alone he seems like a 1-read passer. His best play was that one against LSU but even then he already knew where he was going by eyeing the WR right off the bat and he threw a solid ball but into double coverage. That gets INT in the NFL. Id be cautious. 2/3 round if im a GM but im not :)
Welp the 2023 Draft day one has passed and Levis is still undefeated. The chip this kids going to carry on his shoulder is going to make him do great things.
Didn't watch this kid in college but he shure looks like a prospect that is worth looking at. Super athlethic, huge, and cannon arm. I get why they compare him to Allen but I wish they would stop with those comparisons
So…. Up until today I have not watched any of his highlights… pretty exciting stuff. His release is quick, but the ball seems to move in slow motion while in the air. It’s weird, or maybe it’s just me. Tight windows check. Leads the receiver check. I like him, but it’s so hard to tell if any of that will translate into the NFL…
Honest question but as a QB you always hear step into your throws, is that about accuracy and power but not a big deal if you have a cannon and can throw a strike falling away?
Whoa! I never heard of this guy before I listened to a talk show. Now, I pulled up the highlights…Wow, this is impressive. He is a great player. I like him a lot… I understand these are the best highlights but I see more in these highlights… I see more positive attributes from this guy.
Dude just looks like a monster. These throws are insane. I think alot of people discount him because he didn't win in college but he could be a really special player
@@nobofn9030No he’s fine his line sucks as a titans fan I seriously feel fucking bad for him for landing in Tennessee because our line will NOT block then they’ll lay on the ground 💀
As a Texans fan I was very very concern if we take levis. But after looking deeper at Levis this guy can become a long time QB. What’s most scary about him is I don’t think he’s even showed his best football yet. Time will tell. If the Texans take him I’d still be scared but hopeful
Also a Texans fan here. I like what i see here. Stroud scares me and young is going to Carolina. I still the the best pick is Anderson but i would be fine with this and taking the edge rusher out of Georgia at 12. Grab a couple of receivers later on. This draft is full of wideouts.
Gamer, LOVES the game. I can't tell if this dudes going to be Carson Wentz or Josh Allen?! Very natural thrower of the ball, crazy hip torque makes it look like bad footwork.
I hope caserio is seriously looking at this dude instead of drinking the Young kool-aid. Levis was one of the players who didn't play for my team but I'd always make sure to watch his games. Dudes a beast

He’s really good. People fail to recognize he played injured all year. Similar to Aaron rodgers almost they both played with finger issues. Which makes it very hard to throw. Dude was in the SEC at Kentucky and had a terrible o line this year. Went from having 300 rushing yards last year to -300 this year he was absolutely running for his life. Look at that Kentucky team and tell me how many guys on it are getting drafted compared to the opponents he played. But also still counting in the injury factor
He didnt throw for over 250 yards in any of his games against ranked teams. Thats not bad, but if youre gonna be an nfl player, you gotta be way better. I didnt know he played injured all year. But Rodgers is a completely different type of qb. So dont make that comparison. Will still has a gun to carry his hand. Aaron has a gun too, but thats not bc hes a big body.

06:00 What's interesting is I remember Luck making a very similar throw in the WC round against the Bengals back in 2014. Only his WR caught in and it was only for about 40 yards compared to about 65 on this one. God, I hope Levis falls to my Colts at #4. His arm talent will open up so many holes for JT. Make it happen Ballard!
@alexandersansur226 For sure. You are correct. I do miss seeing that level of QB play from a Colt. Not saying Levis is as good, but he has the potential to be.
This makes me like him way more. Most of his throws he has pressured in his face. And some of these throws are godly. I have him way above richardson imo.
That throw on 2:08 just shows how much potential this kid has. People are discounting him because he’s not slicing and dicing defenses. Firstly, the team around him is average for college and even below average sometimes. Levis is consistently under pressure, give this man a solid team to grow under. And you’ll see massive improvements from his rookie year to his sophomore year. Remember Justin Herbert… he reminds me of him and out of college I’d say Levis has shown more and had a worse team. Everyone slept on Herbert until he lit the league up.
@@skippy6535 yup, imo it all depends upon how dedicated he is to getting better. If he’s truly dedicated, he will end up being the best QB out of this draft. If not, he will be a big bust.
Yeah everyone discounted Herbert but that Oregon team he was on was trash. CJ Stroud looks like Dwayne Haskins to me and Haskins even had a better career at Ohio state. Bryce Young is nice but his size and availability scare me. They are doing Levi’s wrong in the media draft hype.

I remember watching the OSU Penn State game in 2019 when their QB got injured and he came in. OSU couldn’t stop him whatsoever from running all over, had me wondering who tf this dude is
